so i was just wondering...do i absolutely have to wait until march 26th to call in to ask about my status after the interview, or can i call earlier? would they give me some kinda answer or would they just tell me to call back on march 26th. can someone who has had this experience last year please offer some good advice as to what i should to after my interview, if there's anything i can do that is...
thanks alot

yes, i think that they told us that you do have to wait till the 26th before you can get any information. i know it sucks...i am waiting till then too🙁.

Yeah u have to wait, last yr one of my friends even got bumped to the april date too, so there is no guarantee u will hear by March 26th.
Well I'm still on hold there for an interview, I'm instate

hey guys, i'm waiting for march 26th as well cant come fast enough... does anybody have the phone they listed? i cant seem to find that sheet 🙁 all i remember is march 26th after 3pm est.... good luck!

Hi...Yeah, call the admissions office
313.577.1466...at least that is the number that I called and found out I got waitlisted. Maybe someone has a phone number to call to get accepted

hey thanks... if you dont mind me asking, how confident did you feel after your interview? i'm only asking b/c mine was kinda wierd, a lot of factual q's (i.e. marks and mcat scores) and only 3 real questions and then about 40mins of him asking me if i had any questions for him regarding the school.... he talked & talked as if he was tryin to sell me the school, but from my experience it could still go either way... anyhow thanks again!😎

Yeah, same way with mine...hard to feel out. I was moderately confident I guess, whatever that means to you 🙂 . With my scores and how I felt after the interview I figured the worst that could happen was a waitlist. Not that I am overly confident because I have probably what most would consider below avg scores on the grand scheme of med school matrics. But dont take too much stock in what I have to say because I have had 5 interviews and as of yesterday am officially on 5 waitlists! Ugh.
Anyway, hope that helped you out a little. 🙂

I think my interview went really well. It was really conversational. I don't think my interviewer liked that I listed "procrastination" as one of my weakness - perhaps she'd heard it too often from other med students?

Anyhow, I too am waiting for the end of the month to see if I my opinion of the interview is an accurate one. 😉

All the best to fellow waiters!

C.
