Yall hearing back 10 days after your interview is giving me heart palpitations :dead:

Dang I interviewed early Nov and didn’t get a decision

where do people usually live? can current students lmk.

It's scary that they're accepting off waitlist now. Do we think it'll be a steady stream every thursday from now until May? Or do we think that it'll be a few here and there and a large shift in waitlist in April/May. Per MSAR, looks like about 200/600 are accepted off waitlist, so about a 1/3 chance to get pulled off the waitlist.

I've heard the movement will be slightly faster. People are saying there are fewer total applicants, but there are more individuals applying to multiple schools, leading to more individuals with multiple As, leading to faster WL movement.

For those who interviewed, just want to confirm that you sent your thank you letters through the portal, and did you receive any confirmation that they were delivered?

I’m hoping they send out more acceptances rather than waitlisting people to pull them off later. Do you guys think they’ll pretty much waitlist everyone else now and start pulling them off later or will they send more straight acceptances ?

Are there people who interviewed early this cycle and have not received a decision or been rejected post-interview? It seems to me that Wayne waitlists everyone who interviewed but was not accepted.

Last year it seemed like they waitlisted everyone who didn’t get accepted and there was a big pre II rejection in like Feb or March. I’m hoping they send out more acceptances and not waitlisting everyone.

I've heard the odds are slightly higher than reported numbers for waitlists. If you think about it, they waitlist abut half the interviews. Some people will not accept the waitlist, some people will withdraw from the waitlist after April, some people will not respond to an acceptance or not pay the deposit. This means while they do accept around 200 people off the waitlist, the 600 figure is probably more like 400-500 applicants (or lower). It doesn't mean much, but for schools like Wayne, the odds are not 0.

I interviewed Nov 7 I think and I haven’t heard anything

I think that is completely normal. I interviewed on 09/26 and had not heard anything until 11/20. I am waitlisted, though. OOS. I wish you a better outcome.

In my interview they told me to email my letters directly to their mdadmissions email. After emailing them PDFs of the letter, they wrote back to me with a confirmation that they got it and would send it to the interviewers for me!

Do you guys think they’ll be sending decisions every Thursday or stay on the same third Thursday of the month schedule?

If you’re sending an update or LOI, is it better to email admissions or upload it through the portal?

Upload through portal! I accidentally emailed admissions and they told me to upload it per guidelines.

is there a chance to get an interview invite from Wayne for late applicansts as it seems like they already sent out like 1400 IIs !?
