You will get a rejection or II, Wayne does not provide updates. Rejections come around Thanksgiving/Christmas for first rounds (unless you are that one "AI" person lmao).

From my understanding, it can vary greatly depending on the applicant. I know several people who currently go to Wayne, and I have heard it is not uncommon to submit secondaries in July and not hear back for interviews until November / December. I have also heard that some students might submit secondaries in August but get an interview invite in September.

I submitted 7/16, CL was delayed so app complete around 7/31 or 8/1, got II 8/21

True but those people might be SES disadvantaged, URM, an IS resident, or have an incredible X-factor.

Did you apply DO as well? I’m sure you’ll get in somewhere but I’d probably apply to a healthy number of DO
MCAT has no actual predictive power for success in medical school once you get above a 495. Still correlates with STEP 2 scores but only competitive specialties care about that.
I spoke with an adcom at oakland last week and they told me the lowest they've accepted was 495, but idk how long ago that was.
IS residents actually have higher scores here

Context for AI person?
It was a stressed applicant who was going through a very public spiral following a rejection from Wayne that derailed the thread. Sort of a "There go I, but for the grace of God" situation for a lot of us, I think.

Me too! I legit thought it was a rejection letter but nope. It's an invite to another webinar. LOL I appreciate the info sessions but it feels like an offer to date while knowing they aren't serious about a relationship and will ultimately choose someone else. 🤣+1 IS Warrior M.D. Newsletter!

What is the thank you letter process, post-interview? They mentioned it at the beginning of the interview, but I was nervous and don't 100% remember. Do we send our letters to admissions, and will they forward them to those that we want to receive them? Or do we send them individually?

Hope your interview went well! I have one coming up and was wondering how long before your interview did you receive the information with the virtual link, itinerary, etc.?
I had access via the AMP portal for I think a whole week before the interview, including interviewer names, etc.
