Air Force General Surgery Billets

So I'm a PGY3 GS resident in the civilian world and I owe 4 years active duty for HPSP. Been out of this game for a while. Since some of my colleagues (both surgical and otherwise) are currently looking for work after this year, it got me thinking where I'll likely end up in 2.5 years. I've looked everywhere, but have come up short for any information regarding air force gs billets. Anyone with any info? Additionally, how common is it, if at all, to be stationed with another branch (Walter Reed or Madigan, for example). Thanks!

Go to this website and perform an advanced search for "surgery" and "Air Force" to get an idea of where most of the billets are. I can't help you as far as joint assignments or other specialty locations such as Uniformed Services University. I count 13 locations in CONUS.
