Any correlation between Step 2 scores and Clinical Shelf Exam Scores?

I have several questions for you guys who's taken Step 2 already.

1. I was wondering if you guys have any thoughts on the correlation between scores on the shelf and the Step 2. Are the questions similar enough so that you'll do well on Step 2 if you've been doing well on the shelf?

2. I need to do WELL on Step 2 (aiming for 99 on the 2 digit score) since I did not do so well on Step 1 and I'm trying to go for one of the "super competitive" specialties. How much time is enough? 2 weeks? 4 weeks? 2 months? even more?

3. In your opinion, what questions were MOST like the Step 2 questions? Shelf exams? MKSAP? Qbank?

I'm sure the shelf exams offer the most similar questions. And I hope the shelf exam correlates, but who knows?
