All right, I figured this was a good reason to post for the first time after seeing the luck everyone else has had! I got one interview on 9/28 from UMass (been complete at all schools since mid to late Sept). Since then nothing. Here's hoping!
 
A few more invites please! Complete over a month and only 3 so far!

Well, it's been a week since my last invite, so I have no right to complain. It's too early for me to expect any word from the schools that I've had interviews at, so I'll just sit tight and hope that I hear back from the friends that I've been emailing... I have had plenty of interview invitations, but not one person has invited me to hang out with them. Perhaps if I send friends my AMCAS and a couple essays describing what makes me unique and why I would like to spend time with them, I'll have some company this weekend. Or maybe another interview invitation would make me less lonely... +pity+ Alright, now I'm just depressing myself. Screw my social group, I can go pumpkin picking alone!

Anyway... sorry for the rant. Good luck, everyone!!! :luck:

Very true. I'm thinking that if I go to Florida this weekend, maybe something will show up in my inbox on Monday...

I'm starting to hate the Outlook Express incoming mail chime because it's NEVER AN E-MAIL FROM A MEDICAL SCHOOL!! ::falls over::

It's always crap from my grad school.
 
I could really use some interviews about now. None so far...give me some love, magic thread.
 
It is quiet here no invites for a long time I check my e-mail and mail box so often. PLEASE I need an invite waiting is killing me :luck::luck:
 
to you guys who have been complete since late July and August: by now, the admission committees must've looked at our application and put it aside. is there still a chance that they would still invite us for an interview?

Second post asking for a magic interview. I think I'll buy a rabbit's foot off of ebay for my next attempt at using the supernatural to gain more interviews...
 
c'mon magic interview thread. Give me an interview next week. I'm seriously going to just give up if I dont get an interview. Need closure.

you can't just assume that you'll get an interview this week, you have to ask the magic thread for one in the format of:

"hi magic thread, can i get some love and get an interview this week?"

i am not picky. i'll take any interview. I know I'm *to be scheduled* for an interview at UK, but it's been a month, and when I call they say "oh, don't worry, it'll probably come in a week or so." But it hasn't come yet. So please help me out, follow through with UK, or maybe GW, since I've been complete there for 2 months and haven't heard anything, or any other school. I just wanna be a doctor---I just want to help people. Just give me the chance to prove that i can!

4 weeks no invite. i've stopped checking email religiously, because it has gotten old and unrewarding, but now that i'm tearing through the interviews i do have, a few more in line would be nice. :luck:

I need MD school interviews.
I applied to 30: been complete since end of August-mid September, received many rejections (too many to count), on hold at 2 schools, invited for an interview at only 1 school ~a month ago, it's time for the rest.
PLEASE. Every week that passes, the wait is more intense. Please, please, please make this my week!

yes, i am officially sick of checking my email. i get really excited at the possibilities of what i can find in my inbox, but i just end up disappointed multiple times a day. i think i feel a few grey hairs popping out.

i think that's a fair thing to ask after what happened to the Bears today

Thank you, magic thread. I got an invite from Brown pretty recently. But, please, could you maybe pass an invite my way that isn't going to leave me a billion miles from home... in the dead of winter... in New England... around New Year's? I think that was kind of mean.
