No, didn't get any instructions about a thank you letter for my interviewer, though thanks for reminding me...I guess I'll contact the admissions office to get a mailing address.

As for which one I was...hehehe. 😀

im still mourning over my UMich hold update. where are my interviewwws?? 😡
 
I would absolutely love ANY news from schools at this point, rather than just having complete notices!!! Complete for over a month, encroaching on 5 weeks, and I havent heard anything at all other than 'continue to review' for about 3-4 weeks now....ahhhhhh!! Come on lady luck!!! Where did you go???
 
Oh yeah..another complete notice. It'll do for now, I suppose.
 
Boo.. I only got NYU and Columbia complete notices yesterday, and I had completed and submitted their secondaries in early-mid August! 🙁

Posting for good luck too... this wait is killing me.
 
What a slow friday!!! Fridays are usually the biggest day for invites....they used to be my favorite way back when i was getting interviews. What is up with the severe lack of invites today?
 
and when i said that, what i meant was, OMG BROWN OMG BROWN OMG BROWN!!!!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO EXCITED IN MY WHOLE LIFE 😍

I hear that, but those days of plentiful interviews seem to be over. Another interviewless week. On the bright side, it is FRIDAY.

awww well if it makes you feel any better, i've been posting on this thread every day since it was started, and it took me quite a while for it to work. But, perseverance is kinda my thing, even if i can't spell it.
 
I want to join the fun. I got a few invites quickly and since then the holds and rejection have been trickling in like chinese water torture. Here is to a successful October.

Hee hee, I guess it kinda works. I guess I'll have to start posting more. I just got an email putting me on hold at GW. Better than nothing. 🙄 Maybe if I post enough, it will translate into an interview. :luck::luck::luck:

I only have one interview invite, and its for University of Pittsburgh (i think it was an auto-invite, but I don't know if that's good or bad). I am really grateful and excited though, more than I can say!! 😀 But I must admit I am compulsively checking my email and status for the other schools I applied to. I haven't heard a peep, not even from in state schools. This is such a wierd process.

moral of the story... I, too, feel like I'm on crack or something...lol
 
This was a terrible Friday. No word at all. I refuse to lose hope for NYU. As for Northwestern, I'll accept my fate.
 
It's quiet for me, too. Haven't heard anything at all from schools since I got my Case invite last Wednesday. Oh well, I'm not gonna worry until I get rejected from Case without any other interviews to follow.

First call Loyola. There secondary was post nearly 4 weeks before I got mine (and it has a 30 day deadline). I think it was the United States Postal Service fault, but I still would recommend calling. Needless to say I got it at 5pm on Friday, and it was due the following Monday (which was a holiday), and stayed up nearly all night working on it, so I could FedEx it Saturday morning to get there on Tuesday. I couldn't even call them to ask for an extension, because they were already closed, so I just put a nice little letter in it saying, "Please, please still read this."

And secondly, I can't believe you people are complaining about the lag on interviews when some of you already have a near 10 interviews. There are some of us that don't even have a single interview yet!
 
I was invited to interview with Tulane on my birthday (8/15) nothing since then except a rejection or two.

Interviews are like coke, once you get a line of interviews you just want more.


Posting for good luck this coming week. :luck: Maybe an out of state school will finally decide im worthy. Im starting to wonder if there was something wrong with my AMCAS application that I corrected on TMDSAS. :scared:

complete at over 15 schools for 4 weeks, only 1 invite, waiting for other 9 to complete. why does it take so long for them to complete??? 6 weeks for 1 school still not complete. I am ready for a great week. I hear interviews coming, good luck all I hope we all get lots of interviews. and get into the school of our choice. :luck::luck::luck::luck:
 
yes.. hopefully we all hear something this week.. compulsively checking my email is really taking a toll on my school work lol. good luck everyone👍

Tomorrow I am going to my chemistry teacher to beg and plead (again) that she please send my LOR that she offered to write me way back in February! If I can get that done, I'll be happy to be actually officially be on interview hiatus.
 
Although I would love to have a ton of interviews (instead of the, well, one), lets all remind ourselves that it only takes one. Good luck everyone
 
2 rejections (from vanderbilt and mayo) and no interview invites out of 27 schools.. 🙁

All I can say is pleeeeeeeeeeease. I really really do not want to go through this process again. My wallet can't take this abuse.
 
hey guys, just wanted to say don't lose hope. i posted in this thread last thursday, very reluctantly and feeling very silly about being superstitious, but lo and behold, thursday night i come back from work to find a sweet little invite in my inbox.

hope we all have some good news to share by the end of this week 😳)

Seriously, I am trying to ease my obsession this week, hoping it will bring me some more interview invites. Here's good luck to everyone!!! It's October now...we're another month closer to getting millions of acceptances (once we get our interviews, that is)!
 
after posting here i got a hold from gw the next day...weak. i feel some big things coming this week. 👍
 
Just checked the mail.. .and have been checking my email all day on my phone. Nothing. 14 schools are just sitting on my application (complete since July, August)...
 
I've been complete at most schools (though still not at a few) since the end of August / beginning of September and only have one invite. I hope that's not it. I think every school I've applied to has already started sending interview invites already. Here's hoping October is a good month for us all.
