Same! Is it saying we wait until Monday at 1pm to call and schedule the interview? Like, we should not reply to the email?

This calling system makes me a bit nervous as I have interviews on the 9th and 10th already, and so I can only do the 22nd.

Also, I would hate to be the assistant who has to answer all of these.

I am in the same place but for peds. Already have ones on the 14th and 17th so can only do the 22nd. Shes going to get flooded with calls on Monday.

I replied with a general thank you and that I would be calling Monday.

I’m in the same boat as a lot of others with needing the 22nd. But it said in the email they’re doing half day interviews, so hopefully that means they’ll have more spots available.

It’s looking like I will have to decline an interview due to a scheduling conflict. I’m pretty frustrated! If anyone is interviewing at Judge Baker Children’s Center and might be willing to swap dates, please message me!

Yeah, Im at another interview until like 4pm that day so there probably wont be much left at that point.

It can be incredibly hard to review, invite, and set up interview dates in December, especially with limited staff and a bunch of people taking extended time off for the holidays.

If it gives you any hope, I accidentally slept through my alarm to call a site to schedule an interview. When I finally called like 2 hours later, they actually had several dates open and one of which was my first choice.

I hope it works out for you and everyone else! It’s like the hunger games via phone call [emoji85][emoji85]

Yea! I get it but it’s just pretty frustrating to lose out on a potential chance due to scheduling 🙁
 
Personal email invite to Washburn center for children. Multiple times offered on Jan 7, 8, 10, and 14.

This is the last site I was waiting to hear from. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support (e.g., animal pics, messages of hope). It’s a crazy process but we can all do it!!
 
Literally nobody will know the answer to this but I’m feeling a little unhinged and I’m going to ask it anyway: do we really think sites with 12/20 or 12/21 notification dates will wait that long? I’m waiting on Kennedy’s non-accredited trauma track and cypress-Fairbanks and starting to get stressed about scheduling travel plans. Because I haven’t yet. [emoji51][emoji51][emoji51]

I’m also waiting on cypress Fairbanks but honestly thinking of just writing them off. If I do get an interview I’ll try my best to schedule it, but based on my success at other Texas sites....

Yeah... I’ve been feeling the same way, honestly. Everyone in my cohort (5 of us) has been rejected at every site in Texas we’ve applied to. I think I’ll definitely just start scheduling flights starting tomorrow afternoon regardless of whether these two sites have notified yet or not.

Someone I was interviewing with mentioned today that she was taking into account how the interview went in her rankings. Are we supposed to be doing that?? I thought that shouldn’t matter and that we should rank what we like best without taking into account how much we think the site liked us

Yea you should rank based on which sites you like best.

You should definitely rank sites based on your interest in them - the system favors us applicants. The algorithm is complex but an overwhelming majority of people match at one of their top three choices and this does not imply that those sites rank you as their top choice.
