Fingers crossed you hear something soon! Notifications do seem to be going out later this year in general, though that could just be my anxiety distorting my sense of time...

I am a little relieved to learn that other people haven't heard from U Chicago Med either.
 
I haven't gotten any notifications (either rejections or invitations) from any of my sites and am really trying to hold back from applying to sites with a Nov-15 deadline. :arghh: I've already submitted 15 applications and trying to tell myself to chill out.

I've seen the postings for both acceptances and rejections for Children's Minnesota, but are there any others who have not heard from this site at all either way? I've checked all the folders in my email (including trash) with no record, and so I'm trying to figure out if I need to check in with them if there was an error, or if there's a chance it's being done in waves and I can hold tight.

Some people get waitlisted. Not sure if this particular site does that, but I have heard from people who have gone through internship before that some sites will have a waitlist and just won't contact people on the waitlist unless a person who was offered an interview declines and a spot opens up for the waitlist.

I was pretty sure Dartmouth was supposed to send out notifications today...and I have heard nothing.

...sure 😉 Idk..I knew going into this that this would be a reach program for me. The last time they took a Psy.D. was probably during the Carter administration. So..Im not expecting things to change all of a sudden. Just glad my application fee is helping the cause in some way. Perhaps it will go to buy bagels or something in a staff meeting.

I was on their site and they apparently only invite 6 or so people to interview per spot, so it's is a reach for basically anyone. I'm sure acceptances will come rolling in from other places though 🙂
 
Since I'm on the east coast, I wonder if 4 or 5PM is the end of business...for when we should expect to hear something for the day?

Ha, please don't take my word alone, that is simply what I have observed. I have heard of emails at 3AM the following 'calendar day' and I am sure there is some variability across all applicants. So I guess the one thing I can say is don't lose hope even if that reported notification deadline creeps up!

I had this same thing happen for a couple of my sites—in one situation they sent out my invite in like the 2nd or 3rd wave and in another I didn’t receive my rejection email lol. I def wouldn’t reach out to the site. I know it’s anxiety-provoking, but just hang in there and hopefully you’ll hear soon!

Agree with this. Same thing happened to me.

Hang in there. This is definitely a stressful time but keep in mind how far you’ve come since you’ve gotten this far 🙂

I'm posting this partly for advice! We're supposed to call someone on Monday at 11 am which happens to be smack dab in the middle of an assessment I am doing with my supervisor in the room. I really don't want to miss making the call because I can't do one of the dates and I'm afraid that's the one I would get stuck with. Is anyone familiar with the phone call process at this site (or other sites that do something similar)? My fear is that even if I talk to my supervisor and she lets me step out and call at exactly the right time, I will probably end up losing out to someone else for being the first caller. But I can't just sit and wait while redialing because of the assessment. And it feels pretty last minute to try to see if the patient can reschedule. Any advice?
