USAJobs for BOP positions posted on their website whether or not you obtained "best qualified" needed to move on!! I just checked my profile so definitely jump on there to see! Good luck everyone. I applied to MDC-LA and Terminal Island but I don't think Terminal Island has announced anything yet (super annoying).
Where do you look?!

Is anyone else waiting to hear from Pacific Psychology and Comprehensive Clinics (in Portland), Hamm Clinic, or Napa State Hospital?
I'm waiting to hear back from Pacific and Hamm, not Napa. I think a lot of sites are off kilter because of the holiday. I have only heard from 5/15 sites, still waiting to hear back from 10 of them. Other of my cohort mates have already gotten 10 interviews, so I think it all depends on they type of sites you apply to!

How do you see this? I cannot see?

Emailed UMass - they have already completed interviews.
I would be surprised if this is accurate because their brochure lists several interview dates:

Has anyone received an interview from Johns Hopkins University Counseling Center? I saw that some folks heard about rejections today, but I haven't heard a peep from them...

Wow, that is large.

You're right. I got confused by the wording in the email. It said, 'this year we screened 53 applicants for 3 positions.' As you stated, screened can mean many things other than formal interview.

Anywho, it was for the Amherst location

Hey so I just realized that I'm getting rejected from sites because I notified them that I'm already in a non-APPIC internship. I decided to do an extra year to publish and stuff but I was just notified that it is strongly suggested to not apply to APPIC sites if you're presently in an internship. Whoops!
I don't know how to reconcile this with the fact that my program requires an APPIC internship for graduation? I went the non accredited route because it was paid and the offered extra externship positions were unpaid...

What an expensive mistake.

I thought I should let you all know because no one notified me of this at all so it was extremely confusing and dejecting to get a cascade of rejection emails.

Me right now, with my submitted applications:

FYI, I heard from interns at UPenn and Virginia Commonwealth that 1) UPenn will likely be letting us know by the end of this week/Monday of next for interview offers, and 2) VCU is behind and has yet to start the process, so won't likely be sending invites until at least a couple weeks before Christmas.

Did you fill out the USAjobs application for Fort Worth?
I got officially rejected too, but I actually feel relieved! Anyone else felt like that?

it was related to what I wanted to do in my future career, but not perfect. but it was still a better fit than like...CHC positions (to which I did not apply at all). I think it would have been hard for me to act super excited had I interviewed there.

Congrats!! I checked my email and there's nothing from them :dead:

I don’t think it’s a good sign if we haven't heard yet and deadline is tomorrow. Also, it is an extremely long shot for me. But I just want to hear back and move on.
I heard back from Danielsen this afternoon with an interview offer- to be honest with you I would hold out hope. I got a few emails from them regarding my assessment experiences last week. It just seems like they are really taking time to review applications and email for interviews.

How do you see this? I cannot see?
If you go onto the USAJobs website and then log in with whatever username and password you created you can see your application status and it will tell you if you are "referred" and what fit you are (i.e. best fit, etc.)!

Did you fill out the USAjobs application for Fort Worth?
No, my understanding is you don’t fill it out until you are given an interview. The email they sent said the following, “
Dear Applicant,

After a review of 95 applications for the Psychology Internship Program at the Federal Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas, we regret to inform you that you are no longer under consideration. We received more qualified applications than we are able to accommodate for interviews. Thank you for your interest in our training program. We wish you success in finding an appropriate match as you embark on this phase of your professional training. “

I am so jealous and excited for you. This is one of my top 2 sites and I know they only invite 12 people for interviews so it's a long shot and I am just waiting for a rejection. But I need to see it before I can move on.

Has anyone written emails to sites where the notification date passed? If so, what did you say?

So not U Mass Medical Center... you're talking about the counseling center? There are different U Mass sites. You should be more careful. You could really upset people if you're giving out inaccurate information.

Has anyone heard from Nassau University Medical Center? Temple U, or Hamm?

I understand McLean sent out interview invites. Haven't heard anything - assuming a rejection is coming my way.
Does anyone happen to know if they do waves? I know things got jumbled with the child track getting axed this year.

Is your doctoral program aware you are in a non-APPIC internship and did they approve you to complete it? This doesn’t make sense that your program requires APPIC for graduation but you are in a non-APPIC internship right now??? You can only complete one internship. Who advised you about this? :wtf:

Agreed- you are having such a tough time! I am so sorry 🙁
This isn't fair on you at all! You must have a lot on your mind.

It this hasn’t been advised already, I would talk with your DCT and dissertation mentor ASAP. Sorry to hear about this... hopefully it can be remedied.

Same here. Someone who attended their ABCT reception said they send out in waves by geographical region but not sure on the time frame. So I'm hoping, but not hopeful...

Shruffle, that is super messed up 🙁 Sorry to hear you're in this situation.
