I recieved a letter from Upenn abt my application completion
in a week after they recieved all documents!
They will start the interview process from september thats wht
the letter says! lets see..hope for the best!
u hv got very good stats sbcd !

Good stats elto, these are what you need for Californa schools with some hand skills. You will get it

ps: LLU guys require 79 in part II. maybe you would call them to know more.!

NB I/II score: 82/Yet to take
-ECE GPA : 3.19
-TOEFL : 89
-Nationality : INDIAN
-Work Ex in US/home country: NO
-Re/fresh applicant : FRESH
-Schools Interested in : ANY SCHOOL IN US THAT TAKES MY SCORE.

Can anyone of you help me? Should I be applying or no? Have people got in the past with this scores?

Hi,
My advice would be: Retake Part I and try to get at least 85... the reason is that there are many applicants from India with very good scores (high competition).
Also, your TOEFL score is kind of low... most schools require between 90 and 100....
On the bright side, your GPA is good and that is because it is the ONLY stat that you cannot change.
Please, don't feel discouraged... Many of us had to retake exams in order to be in a more "competitive" situation... but I can assure you that if you work hard, next year you will be ready to apply and have better chances...
In the meantime, try to volunteer, work as dental assistant, etc... that would help your resume too...

When did you get your score report? did your score report has both part1 and part2 scores on it? I am waiting for my part2 score, but I am afraid I will fail it(I did really bad). My part1 score is pretty good, I already requested the part1 score a week ago. My concern is: whether ADA would add part2 score on my report automatically which will affect my application negatively. (e.g. some schools only need part1 score, if they see my bad part2 score on the report card, they might think I am not qualified....)
any ideas?

thanks for reply. I just called the ADA, my god, they sent out my part1 July 17th, and my part2 July 18th. (they are on the way) The guy told me the report only including part1 score because my part2 score was available one day later. if I requested a day later, it should include both part1 and part2. This rule really sucks~!
It seems that ADA handles the report so fast... I took the part2 test a week ago.
my advice to others: If you have good part1 score, just request it before you take part2 test.(send to your home address with evenlop unopened, I think most schools accept that.) part1 is much easy and easily get high score than part2.

Work on your handskills, this is all what you need to get in Cali. UPenn and UPitt are really unpredictible. Good luck
