Yes, I picked Yale's HPM and Policy departments, was complete like January 13th.

just asked if I had received an email saying my file was under review (I had in early January). She replied that I should know by March 1 and then proceeded to hang up in my face.
Hope this helps ::shrugs::

OMG. I have the same letter. This makes me so nervous.Website finally worked and the first page says Congrats got into Columbia HPM but then it is followed by another page that says something about being waitlisted for my "first choice" and says they will let me know by "May 2011"...What is that? discrepancy? Anyone else?
I had that same letter. I'm assuming it was a mistake. I did email the admission office, and hopefully they will tell us tomorrow what it means, but I think it's nothing to worry about since it states about dates in 2011 and not 2012.
I think it is a mistake. Last night there was no page 2 when I viewed the decision. Then I could not access the letter this morning when I tried to print out. Then tonight page 2 suddenly appeared. I think it is just another problem with the website.
I too am still awaiting a decision from Columbia-HPM. I emailed them and was informed that I will hear no later than early-March. It seems that they're sending decisions in batches, I submitted my application in late-December so I'm not exactly surprised that I have yet to receive a decision.![]()
Pass that salsa over here. I also applied for Epi and didn't get an email either. At this point, I'd prefer a rejection over just not knowing...
I got the same message this morning. That better be a mistake. besides, how could they put you on waitlist after getting accepted? this whole tech issue is annoyingI had the same letter pop up after the website went down from this morning, Columbia is giving me a ****ing heart attack here.
Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted thus far, especially to Columbia! Pretty incredible to see so many acceptances go out at the same time from the same school.
I'm still waiting on BU...looks like they are sending out emails first and letters second? Certainly didn't help that I was checking my email furiously all day 🙄
But I'm getting a lunchtime massage tomorrow while I'm at work. I heard there's a small parlor a few blocks away, so I'm going to check it out. I definitely need something to relax my nerves a bit. Hopefully this will help!![]()
Good luck with BU! What track did you apply too? I also applied and I actually received the acceptance packet in the mail first followed by an email (around 12/15). I applied to the social and behavioral sciences track.
My SOPHAS mailing date to Mailman was 11/15/2011
haha yeah definitely. had a mini panic attack this morning. the admissions woman said they have been getting tons of calls, and they are working to fix itYES! So happy the acceptance stands!! These technical glitches have been terrible -_- And YES Columbia salsa parties =)
no worries. just be sure to e-mail them, since they need to know which accounts to fix. Thanks, Jonsnow88. Feeling better.
So...I've been accepted to Columbia's Accelerated MPH! Also received an invite to interview at UMich for the MHSA.

yeah she put me on hold twice when i called. but at least she answered the question. it's cheaper and faster for them to do decisions online now, but i agree, snail mail is the best. They must be as I keep getting sent straight to voice mail when I call.
I did just get an e-mail out of the blue from the director of admissions that they are working to resolve it and should hear back shortly.
Call me old fashioned but at least with good old snail mail, these mistakes rarely happened back in the day.
