I think many applicants would kill for stats like yours. As long as you don't have red flags, decent essays, and dont come across as a doorknob during interviews, I think you could get in anywhere.School List:
- cGPA: 4.0, sGPA:4.0
- MCAT: 520 (132/128/130/130)
- State of residence: Illinois
- Caucasian, male
- Undergraduate institution: State school
- Clinical experience: 280 hrs paid as EKG tech, 80 hrs on a clinical mission trip, 30 hrs as intake volunteer, 80+ hrs as a biomedical tech intern

I appreciate any input on my application strength and weaknesses and would really like feedback on my school list! Thanks for any help!
Where do you live in IL? SIU has very specific attendance focus. How come no University of Chicago? I’d take Rosalind Franklin off your list. Did you use the MSAR to check on OOS statistics for public schools? Your mission trips to foreign countries aren’t impressive to many ADCOMS. It’s better to find unserved/underserved right in your own community. You should get off campus and out of your comfort zone and show yourvaltruism. You really haven’t done much of that. How many hours do you have in the soup kitchen? You need at least 150 + hours in both clinical and nonclinical experience. You have enough shadowing. I’m not sure what a biotech intern is but you most likely have enough clinical experience. The main thing is to keep acquiring experiences. Don’t stop just because you have “enough”. Always plan for a rePplication.
