One year of obligatory military service and then an injury resulting in discharge from the military is not going to be a problem for adcoms....
Having had a year of clinical experience as a medic in Korea will be seen in a good light. You should also try to get some experience in clinical settings in the US to see how it differs from practice patterns in Korea but that level of experience working along physicians in the care of patients will, I think, put you in the top 10% of applicants in terms of clinical experience.
