I found out he was slade. Character seemed like a nearly veritable wolf to me. I was wrong. Didn't see that result coming.

I wasn't trying to hoodwink anyone except maybe DocE and his hubris.

Lynch me tomorrow if you want. I understand

I will shut up now.

I flinched you for failing the city. Do you think I would not do the same thing to someone who I found out was Slade? this is derstandable.

Cool.

It certainly explains his lack of role reveal.

why did you wait so long to tell us he was in the book then?
It was only the night before last, and I was (rightfully) not convinced that being in the book meant you were a wolf, or even a criminal. Then he was up for lynching, so I decided to confront dds before revealing it on the thread.

Also Tuesday was extraordinarily busy at work, and I didn't finish till after the lynch deadline.

The first lynch of a villager, and the carnage surrounding it, has left people a little bit unsettled. Is it worth asking, "at what price justice?" Have the citizens gone too far in listening to their most bloothirsty compatriots. Is "Kill, Kill, Kill" really the best way to go about this? Perhaps, if they just mind their own business, these wolfy types will leave them alone. One of the apparent proponents of this theory is sitting at home tonight, thinking about the one person who really matters.. Laurel. He would do anything for Laurel, in fact, he has already made up his mind that he will sacrifice his life if Laurel's is at risk. What else can he do to make up for his family's sins. He may not be the only one in this game with some Daddy issues, but his Daddy sure is pretty nasty. And the best thing to do is to stay at home and wait for Laurel, and spend another night of snugglebunnies.

He hears Laurel's car pull up to his driveway, and he looks outside so he can see her ASAP. She stops and gets out of her car, and then he hears a slight sound of glass breaking. "What was that he thinks," as he notices a slight pain in his chest, and then collapses down to the floor. Tommy Merlyn, a regular villager, Medicane2006, who would take Laurel's place in death, has died first instead , sniped in the chest with a bullet from a high caliber, and extremely accurate rifle. Laurel comes inside, sees the dead body, and heads straight to the bar to get her drunk on.

Elsewhere, we find that Samoa, who has completely recovered from her wound from the other night, is back out at night. She is crossing an alley (Samoa seems to spend a lot of time in alleys) when out of the shadows jumps the hooded vigilante. Samoa stops, and just bursts out laughing. "Oh my freaking god, you look hilarious. Hoodies are really not your look, you should stick to the tight fitting spandex outfits. You would think my humiliating you the other day would have taught you a lesson. I am not sure you are taking my words to heart. Don't you remember, YOU OWE ME". The girl runs off without a word, crying, down the alley. Samoa just keeps on grinning, thoroughly amused over "kids" these days..

As she continues down the alley, again a hooded vigilante jumps out. Again Samoa stops, but this time she does not burst out laughing. Her eyes narrow to a squint, and she says "You are making a mistake. Don't start something you can't finish."

"No" replies the Arrow, "I was supposed to take your life the other day and you slipped away. I have not forgotten, you have failed this city."

"Failed, not a chance, I the only hope for this city, if you know who I am, if you have checked me out, you should know that.," she replies.

"I will give you one chance to come in peacefully, otherwise I am going to have to shoot you down here." claims the Arrow.

"Hah, I would like to see that", and Samoa and the Arrow then simultaneously pull out their bows and fire and jump to the side. They both miss.

They continue to grab arrows, fire, jump aside, and repeat. Over and over again. Down the alleys, up the fire escapes, through the buildings... But each time they fire, Samoa gets a little closer to shooting the Arrow, and the Arrow gets a little wilder in his shots. Finally, the Arrow trips over a black cat, and Samoa shoots, and the Arrow is only able to move at the last nanosecond, with the arrow just missing the Arrow's heart and landing near his shoulder. The Arrow wants to continue the fight, every molecule in his being, every protein, every nucleic acid is pushing him to continue, but somehow, for once, there is a voice of reason. Perhaps he shouldn't have come after Samoa when he was still grieving over Sara, perhaps he should have spent the night with the sexy girl who asked for his protection tonight, whatever the reason, he knows he can't push his luck.. too many people are counting on him. He slinks back to "the Quiver" to seek some first aid from Team Arrow. Samoa's amusement is slightly lessened, but she still heads off to her night's work with a smile on her face.

Next we will check in with Moira Queen. She has been an outspoken leader of the community since she saved lives by dismantling the earthquake machine, and her killing of WS is now silently applauded instead of denounced. How fickle are the masses. No one seems to really understand Moira. Some people think she is an evil bitch, some people think she is a redeemed mother who was only protecting her family, but neither of those are true. She is a cold and calculating woman, perhaps not evil, but very much in the amoral category. She will do whatever it takes to put herself in the best light. So it is no surprise to her that she has finally gotten the call from her former evil lover. He comes to her new residence to discuss a return to his organization of evil to help in the next stage of his plans. She doesn't mind that. She is willing to do whatever it takes. They spend half the night discussing various plans, and then he explains his nefarious plot to defile Jojo's body, and destroy his WW legacy.... and she says. "NO. There are some things that even I will not do, and that is one of them. ".

"Come now, my little bengal cat, you know you want to fool them all again. You know you want to stab all those dirty rotten citizens in the back after you have been fighting for them. To smear Jojo's character is a small price to pay for that". he virtually purrs to her.

But Moira is resolute. "No, that is the old Moira, I am a new woman. I refuse."

"Ah, but I can torture you, and Thea, and Oliver, and I can make you read Lupin's greatest GIFs and creepy messages over and over again until you BEG me to take you into the evil folds. I can make you sit in a room with only DVMD, LIS and WS debating. I can make you listen to DocE and Jojo discuss WW statistics. Do you think you can handle that? Are you prepared to make that sacrifice?"

"Noooooooooo. It is inhuman. " Escalla goes running from room, and tries to kill herself by jumping out of the window. Unfortunately she forgot that she only lives on the 2nd floor and she falls to the ground with just a few scratches and bruises from the Evergreen tree. She is lying on the ground, groaning in "mild pain" when suddenly out of nowhere cats appear. All types of cats. Abyssinians, and Maine Coons, and DSH, and Siamese, and Scottish Folds and the like... and they start licking her with their rough tongues. At first it just tickles, but then they start to pull the skin off her, and after she is skinned they nibble on all her internal organs until there is nothing left. Somewhere, a mod is snickering.

Escalla, Moira Queen, an ambiguous villager who could (and did ) save the city from the earthquake machine has chosen death by cats over conversion to evil!

Finally, we have one last place to check in. After DDS was shot dead, one person mourned his loss. And this person has returned tonight... and gives him a little bit of that funky weed that had been stashed away. And even though Jojo begged to be revived, it is DDS who has rejoined your ranks. Welcome back DDS to the game. Resurrected and ready to mock again.

It appears our dear mod still holds a grudge. 😛

and for the record, this was not a choice for honour, but one of necessity. I believe "DIEVILLAGERSDIEEEEE" is the new motto and it's rather unfortunate that my dear friend departed before me. I believe a debt is coming due for payment....

Good luck wolves!

If you know who devyn is, why would you think she is ambiguous?

Oh I should clarify that my ambiguous = can be converted comment is unrelated to me selecting a criminal (not so much) at random. I could do kaydubs. We risk less with kaydubs as it appears she has no powers left so we might only be risking a de-powered player. But Devyn is still rubbing me wrong from way back when and she is also in camp criminal.

We all know I'm a criminal at this point. I realise I'm rubbing you the wrong way for some reason. Probably the same reason you are rubbing me the wrong way. But I'm just a criminal. And I think you just have it out for criminals at this point with your lynch voting history. I think it is more important to focus on wolves and lynching them. You can lynch me once we have actually lynched some wolves if your lust for criminal blood has not been satisfied.

As I said before my roll may be criminal, but my ability is actually helpful towards the villager cause. It would be silly to lynch me....

Grudge is such a strong word.
I would say that my subconscious is expressing itself through my writing to release the anger that has built up from past injustice.

I think of you it as my muse.

Catching up this morning...

So...is devyn a serial killer or a criminal?

(And so sorry I disappeared yesterday....damn frost free at the barn froze again and started leaking yesterday (leaking = looked like a underground water volcano). Idiot plumber who didn't put the frost free in deep enough. 🙄 Digging up a water pipe in frozen/cold ground and replacing the pipe/fixing the leak took all day, and I was too exhausted to get on the internet afterwards. Sorry mods. Won't happen again.)

No she's a criminal, her criminal just happens to be a serial killer. But there is reason to believe none of the criminals have a useful power. And Ineed one more dead to prove it. Also there is *strong* reason to believe that criminals become the wolves (and ambiguous just switch sides. Criminals actually *become* wolf roles). Wolves appear to be converted in this game, similar to protoman. You *have* to target the susceptible.

By the time you exterminate all of the criminals from the game, the wolves will probably outnumber villagers anyway at the rate we're going.

Its not a grudge against criminals mind you. Ive said this quite a few times, we've had 2 criminals die. 1 has been clearly nothing but detrimental to the villager cause and the other appears to be nothing but detrimental to the villager cause. Especially in the light of some evidence on how conversions seem to work... We sort of need a third data point on how a third criminals power works. If the are are straight villager detrimental it serves the villager cause better to clean them all out. If they arent all straight villager detrimental, then we need to be more specific. But until we answer that, we have a bunch of people who might be wolves and who might *also* be villager detrimental when theyre not wolves.

I dont know anything about dwin.
FFM doesnt do me any good as we already know what his death write up is.
I know kaydubs now claiming to have no powers left, thus why i suggested her a few times. Low risk if she is telling the truth.
I know Devyn is the worst sounding of the criminals and has rubbed me as a flat out wolf from day 1. But is dancing around having a useful power.
