Thank you. After reading some of the speciality forums and rants against national health care I thought I was the only liberal doctor of the 21st century.

There are plenty of medical students willing to hand over their profession and livelihood to a governmental bureaucracy which is likely to do nothing more than lower our incomes, the standard of care, and make people view healthcare as more of a "right" than they already do. Yeah, no shortage of idiots, um, i mean "liberal doctors" around here.

btw, I take issue with your use of the word "liberal". I am a fairly liberal person, that doesn't mean I support the ridiculously short sighted "national health care" proposals I've seen.
