as new mexico resident, what schools can I apply as in-stater?

Hello,

I heard that you can apply texas tech as in-stater since the college is at the border of new mexico. What other schools are in border with new mexico or accepts new mexico residents as in-staters? Thank you.

I surmise that NM is the only state you get the advantage of being IS.

Residents of Union, Quay, Curry, Roosevelt, Lea, Eddy, Otero, and Dona Ana counties in New Mexico *may* qualify for in-state tuition waivers at UTEP SOM and Texas Tech SOM. They will be classified as OOS applicants, but *may* receive some special consideration during the admissions process.
