Has anyone heard about the Atlantic Bridge Program becoming less competitive due to the recent increase in tuition? Perhaps less people are applying?

Economic downturn probably balanced this issue, since more people would want to go back to school.

Since the spike last summer, the Euro has come off about 25% versus the US dollar.

Inflation rate difference is negligible between the two currencies' areas.

Makes Irish tuition seem much cheaper than it was last year for US students studying in Ireland.

The bigger problem is one of credit availability. Student lenders have been severely hit, tougher to attract underwriters, though I don't have data specific to medical students looking to borrow $200K or more.

Does any one know how much it usually is per year to attend an Irish school.

I am also confused about these programs. 6 years is including premed?
What kind of grades does one need with an undergrad degree that is not premed.
