I am trying to schedule rotations at my possible top choices. However only one of them has the application on line. I keep emailing people to send me the forms etc. or any info and no one is responding. So annoying!....😡 Should I call them, and if so, who the heck do I call?

call the residency coordinator. it is listed on freida or let me know what program and i can look it up in eras. however, these people are dealing with the last round of interviews right now but i think it is starting to slow down. also, this early you may run into the fact that some places give their own students first priority and don't start taking applications from outside people until a few months from now.

It's still a little early so I'd be patient. I agree that many places wait until their own students are scheduled before assigning spots to visitors.

I scheduled aways in March, and this was considered very early by others at my school.

Keep on it though. I started in Jan. and it was early but I got 2 of the 3 rotations that I wanted. I just called the department and talked to them, telling them that I wanted to rotate in the fall. Get your name in the mix because I feel that rotating at a program will be of great benefit to you as an applicant next year.

For mine, I was trying to call the program coordinator as the chairman had directed me, but I was never able to reach that person. So I called the student affairs people at the med school, and they were able to set everything up (and ended up being who I should have been talking to anyway). I'd call the student affairs office where you want to go and ask them what you need to do to get the ball rolling.
