So I was complete back in November, but they were waiting for my updated MCAT. I got a 20 last fall and retook it in January. I made a 25 this time. I have a 3.61 overall and 3.52 science. I called the week I faxed things to make sure they received the new score. They didn't so she told me to refax. I am going to call today to see if they now have my new MCAT score.

I was just curious to see if they are still sending out interview invites. Does anyone know when the last interview day is? Also, is the invite by mail, email, or phone? I'm back home for spring break and someone is checking my mail. I really want AZCOM because of the program and my grandmother lives out there. Any input would be great. Thanks!

Last I heard they still have like 100 spots left to fill. They will be interviewing into May. They send out interview invites via email.

I think you still have a really good shot at an AZCOM acceptance this cycle.

Thanks Slim! I just got off the phone with admissions and they do have my updated MCAT score. Now I just sit and wait. Do you know how often the committee meets for interview invites? Or is there a specific day that invites are emailed out?

Have you associated your Interact Now account with the student ID number they emailed you?

If you have, then after you have been accepted (and usually before you receive your actual letter) the color scheme will change a bit and you will have the option to fill out a matriculation agreement.

Yeah when you sign in it should be white now instead of the colors it was before and a note will pop up saying congratulations on your acceptance.....

student ID number? Is that on the second page of the "congratulations, you have been accepted" letter they sent me? I got a piece of paper in that envelope with two numbers on it that I use to get into the "campus portal" page. Is it one of those?

I got my student ID number emailed to me once I was complete after my secondary and everything. Mine is six digits. I haven't received my official "congratulations" letter yet, so I'm not sure if the ID # is on there. You can also call admissions and ask anyone for your ID though.

Seriously, though, where do I find my student ID number. I already feel a little ripped off...I never got a phone call from Dean Kemper! I feel slighted...wait, I'm over it. Phone call or not, I'm still going to AZCOM!😀 Well, I am if I can keep my nose out of trouble at work. I'm biting my tongue. I'm bottling it all up...I'm NOT yelling at the people that outrank me...argh. I need stitches now. My poor tongue. 🙁 I have no fingernails anymore. Know why? Ate 'em all. Also, no pen caps. So I'm on spring break right now and it's driving me crazy. I didn't go anywhere fun because I'm going to NY after graduation. I've been up at my parents company helping out up here and checking my email!!! AZCOM is my top choice! Keep your fingers crossed that I get an interview!!!

Maybe the committee will get the vibe.😛

I HATE my job!

Me 2. I had to sit through a 2 hour HR "workshop" this morning on "Communication skills"

I spent far more time than I should have trying to figure out how to effectively slit my wrists with the pamphlet they handed out.
Someone fainted in the hallway after that. Why they held out until AFTER the meeting is beyond me. Could have saved us all from a lot of boredom.

Then I get back to my desk and I get this panicked phone call that they can't get the conference phone to work in the conference room. Turns out they work plugging the wrong cords into the wrong holes.

Then I get an email from my mother about just how awesome she thinks the her latest multi-level-marketing business is (I HATE MLM with a passionate fire with burns within me).

I'm glad it is Friday.

No. It is Quixtar which is, I guess, the new name for Amway. Doesn't that just SCREAM shady reputation when they keep having to change their name?

Oh, and my sister is into selling "essential oils" from young family living or something like that. She thinks they are the cure-all for everything that ails ya. Basically they just make her smell very bad.

My one and only concern is that i'm gonna miss the snow! I have a need to ski!!!! i hear some snow-caps arent too far away thou 👍.

Skiing is about 2 hours away IF it is a good snow season. There have been years when there is no snow for months, so they eventually make their own snow... I am not sure if that makes for good skiing or not? This year, there was a lot of snow though!

For you future docs out there, this is a classic case of "short timers syndrome". So when you have a patient walk in and light you up like this. Rest assured, you will have the correct diagnosis/prognosis. hahaha

If there is no snow around there. You can always make the ten or so hour trip to UT or CO and find the best skiing in the world. I know I am biased

A ten hour drive makes for a very short flight 😀. so i'm in! Wherever theres great powder, thats where i want to go....just to get my fix!
