Hey guys,
Had an interview on october 13. The interviewers really great and made me feel at ease. I was still pretty nervous and stuttered on a few answers but hopefully that wont hinder me to much.🙂

It's a small world 🙂 I had my interview on October 13 as well.

Just got off the phone with AZCOM, and the answer is no, we don't have to pay deposit before assigning rotations. So get those rotations forms in asap!

interviewed last friday (10/7) I am sure they will be reviewing your apps this afternoon.

ohh than us people from last week might be a bit...i interviewed 10/12 and they said that the adcoms meet wed or thurs and that we would hear back by friday

Hahaha agreed! 1 school I have an interview at sends 1 batch of acceptances in dec 1 in feb and then another in march with the rejections/waitlists NOW THAT'S ROUGH!

if you have an accepted student checklist appear it means your accepted!! most accepted students said it took a few days before the deposit amount went on!

Yeah...people are always incredulous every cycle in spite of a plethora of reassurances about the portal. It's all the type A personalities I think. 🙄

Again, congrats to everyone who's been accepted already and to those of you who have interviewed and haven't heard anything yet, don't sweat it because there's still a decent chance that good news could still be headed your way. 👍

I've talked about it a few times in this forum, but basically it's not the end of the world. That status is usually related to a gpa or MCAT issue, so if that happens to also be true in your case, just keep the school primarily posted with new grades and scores, but also feel free to keep them informed about research, publications, etc. The more proactive you are, the better your chances. At least one of the current MS1s who sometimes frequents the forums had that status at some point last cycle too, and it definitely worked out for them.
