Baylor calls?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Haven't heard anything here. . .🙁

Still nada. . .in fairness, though, they did say Wednesday OR Thursday. Let's hope it's Thursday. 🙂

Anyone hear on Thursday night?

Man, if SDN is at all representative, they sure are being stingy with the calls post 10/15. . .

just so holly's not the only one posting, i haven't heard anything either, and i interviewed there on 9/5. clearly they're being stingy, and the longer I go without hearing from them the less enthused I get. they were my first choice for a while and if they'd accepted me on oct 15 i may have cancelled subsequent interviews, but they didn't and i didn't, and now they're my top choice anymore. i'm not saying i'm the man and it's their loss, but i'm sure my attitude is fairly common, so i have to wonder what schools gain by being so slow to accept people.

To be honest, it seems as if Baylor is more semi-rolling than it is pure rolling. I mean this in the sense that they accept a very few people from each interview group immediately, and then they will start picking up the pace of acceptances come early next year.

I would be interested to know if something similar to what I suggested has happened in past years.

I am interviewing in a couple of weeks at Baylor. What books would you recommend reading about current issues in medicine? I have heard that this is a very common interview question there.

Nary a word... I despair of hearing anything before March. I think, might be wrong, that a big chunk of acceptances go out around mid March for all the folks they want, but made wait.

Also, that's the first you'll hear of wait list status.

Miss Millie, I think the U Wash thread has a couple of books listed on it. MIght check that one.
