Hey, Guys:
It's me again. I'd like to tell you about what DSI recently sent me. It is an invitation to enrol in their Clinical Licensure Review Course for summer. I am sure many of you have received a similar letter, but let me vent out my displeasure over this sales pitch.
The letter did not help me with the emotional strain that has been churning inside of me for the past weeks and months because of the bench exam. I am sure DSI knows this is quite true for ALL the candidates. DSI has been in this business for so long already...All of us are anxious over the results and then here comes a letter with my reference number beside my name. Of course, nobody aside from myself and the board knows, or cares about my reference number. So who would I think the letter came from?
But then there was no return address, so I did not find out who it was from until I opened the envelope. And there it was...an invitation from DSI to spend a non-refundable $3900 to enrol for the Part 4 review.
I understand DSI needs to make money out of their review courses, but I think they should have waited till the results are out before sending out any letters regarding their review courses. IMO, it is not proper for anyone to preempt the Board regarding the exam results. I think the gesture was done in very bad taste. Either it gives false hopes that I may have passed the exams, or it is actually giving me a hint that I did. And that is not good for my psychological health!!!
I, and all the others who received this letter deserve an apology from DSI. I hope it doesn't happen to the next batch of examinees.
I'd like to hear from others who have received this letter.
