When did u receive invitation through postal mail.....I mean how many days after ur e-mail invitation.
I haven't received any postal mail 4rm their side........have my interview on 6th nov.
Anyone else,who has not received postal mail after an e-mail?
Its been a few weeks now. But as I said, the same text that was in the email was sent in the postal mail, except that it was on official BU letterhead. Don't panic, as long as you sent your response in the same format that was requested, u s'd be OK.

hey!! got an interview at BU on 8th jan. all you guys who've had interviews.....any tips on how to prepare for it? do they ask any technical questions at all?

Congratulations to all those who made it till the interview. Just be persistent u will get in.
But my opinion, BU is not a good skool. Many issues with the program. BU should not be anybody's 1st priority for advance standing, just my view. I would think twice before joining.
I dont mean to discourage but thats the fact.
Good part is its 2 yr n cheap.

why dont you just give part2 anyway.....it'll be useful later even if get thru this time...... hope u get thru but no harm keeping options open right? all the best

my application was complete on 3rd of october and i recieved an email on 4th october that it is under active consideration but till now i have nt heard from them. i m really worried.
my stats are nbde part 1-90, masters degree, toefl-101, 61/2 years experience( including masters)
can anyone help me out what to do next??????
can anyone tell me how much time do these guys take to evaluate an application?

I am also looking forward to hear for an interview call from BU. I wanted to call the admissions office and ask them about the status of my application..but then i thought I should wait. I think they are not giving out any interviews right now as nobody is putting on sdn.

I sent my application and got an email from BU that my toefl is missing..although i submitted it before. I then sent a new copy to them.It was in early oct.
the wait period is so irritating..i sometime feel that what if they wont consider me..all negative feelings. Then i think what i am gonna do if i will not be able to make this year. I had high hopes on TUFTS but so far I have received no communication from them.

hi. i got email of application completion on 4th oct. and still no further news from BU. have anyone got call who had complete their appllication in oct?

My BU application was delivered on 22nd Oct and was informed of application completion and interview call on the same day.
(A gap of 15 mins, at the max.)
You might want to call/email Mr. Kahan regarding your application status.

Did they tell you that your file is still in an active state.?
well this " active consideration" mail was the 3rd mail i recieved and that was 4th october... after waitin for sometime i tried again to know my status and at that time i was informed that due to huge load of application it takes lot of time to evaluate and my application will be evaluated in comin week.. and this was on 24th oct...
regardin other schools.. i was not fortunate enough to apply in california schools...so was left with fewer options like umn, texas, boston, colorado and now i think i ll applyin to nyu...

i am very worried about my gpa . Dr. ashayeri has resigned . thats why i think they are not sending any new calls .

well for upenn no one knows their criteria...
my application was completed by end of august except for toefl
which couldnt reach them first time... so i resent it
my toefl reached on oct 4, and i got a call on oct 6

What do you mean by "active consideration" ??? i got a e-mail that my application is complete and also a second e-mail stating that my application is under evaluation....but no mail as such my application is under active consideration...what does that mean is it altogether a different mail???feed back appreciated.
