I have an interview appointment for 30th Oct as well. I have received both an email and the same info in a postal mail. I confirmed by responding back to the email but there has not been any confirmation letter etc. I hope that helps. If you receive anything, please let us know.

Its been a few weeks now. But as I said, the same text that was in the email was sent in the postal mail, except that it was on official BU letterhead. Don't panic, as long as you sent your response in the same format that was requested, u s'd be OK.

Congratulations to all those who made it till the interview. Just be persistent u will get in.
But my opinion, BU is not a good skool. Many issues with the program. BU should not be anybody's 1st priority for advance standing, just my view. I would think twice before joining.
I dont mean to discourage but thats the fact.
Good part is its 2 yr n cheap.

You have very good credentials but I think Boston prefers 100+ on TOEFL.Ask the admissions office about TOEFL.good luck

my application was complete on 3rd of october and i recieved an email on 4th october that it is under active consideration but till now i have nt heard from them. i m really worried.
my stats are nbde part 1-90, masters degree, toefl-101, 61/2 years experience( including masters)
can anyone help me out what to do next??????
can anyone tell me how much time do these guys take to evaluate an application?

I sent my application and got an email from BU that my toefl is missing..although i submitted it before. I then sent a new copy to them.It was in early oct.
the wait period is so irritating..i sometime feel that what if they wont consider me..all negative feelings. Then i think what i am gonna do if i will not be able to make this year. I had high hopes on TUFTS but so far I have received no communication from them.

My BU application was delivered on 22nd Oct and was informed of application completion and interview call on the same day.
(A gap of 15 mins, at the max.)
You might want to call/email Mr. Kahan regarding your application status.

well this " active consideration" mail was the 3rd mail i recieved and that was 4th october... after waitin for sometime i tried again to know my status and at that time i was informed that due to huge load of application it takes lot of time to evaluate and my application will be evaluated in comin week.. and this was on 24th oct...
regardin other schools.. i was not fortunate enough to apply in california schools...so was left with fewer options like umn, texas, boston, colorado and now i think i ll applyin to nyu...
what bout u? any progress on other fronts?? what bout texas???
