Opening Post (Part 1)

Welcome to a game loosely based on WW but with 🌈🛑m e c h a n i c s🛑🌈

Please read your mod PM and this post closely and ask any questions in the privacy of your mod PM. I will answer as promptly as work allows.

Day cycles will be 36 h in length (ending at 10pm Eastern/9pm Central/7pm Fantasyland), night cycles will be 12 h in length (ending at 10am Eastern/9am Central/7am Fantasyland but possibly shorter if by some miracle all actions are submitted before I go to sleep). Day cycles will have the option to change to 12 h if majority wills it as the game progresses.

Game rules (separate from the rules which can be found below in a spoiler):

During DAY CYCLE: you have the option to either vote/yeet like normal ORRRR place a bounty on a player. YOU CANNOT DO BOTH IN THE SAME DAY CYCLE. If you choose to place a bounty on someone, you should submit that IN YOUR MOD PM and it will appear anonymously on the ~*bounty board*~ on thread. Remember, I do not care much for last minute waffles so if you suddenly are struck with the urge to place a bounty as vote closes, I will be not pleased. You may change your vote OR your bounty as many times as you'd like until vote cycle closes. Please mind the time of submission.

Regarding night actions: please notify me if you are choosing to abstain from acting. No submission of action =/= abstain/no action.

Regarding posting on thread: would like to keep inadvertent strategizing to a minimum: for sidecars: please surround any posts with emojis like this (similar to how the manators posted in newb game thread:

For tots: I request that you mind your reactions to game posts and please post in stars to not confuse anyone.

Opening Post (Part 2)

Spoiler: Rules: plz peruse; tl;dr: don't break my game

Rules

1. May it be clear that any personal attacks or other toxic behavior will not be tolerated. You will not receive a warning, you will be removed from gameplay. If that is an issue, please feel free to talk to me about that.

2. There is no participation requirement but be aware that if a lack of participation becomes apparent, you will be issued a warning. I'd rather you didn't ghost the game without any explanation.

3. Similarly, if you suddenly require to be removed from the game, please do NOT post on thread, message me directly.

4. Do not discuss the game outside of thread or your mod PM.

5. No PMs exchanged between players unless told otherwise.

6. Dead players should post in *****stars***** and keep commentary to a minimum. Also mind your reactions to posts made after your death.

7. Please do not direct quote or copy/paste or screenshot anything from your mod PM. Any fake copy/pasting, quoting and screenshots are not allowed. Practice the art of paraphrasing.

8. You may edit posts but cannot delete them and please do not edit votes. Remember to unvote. Please format your votes correctly, either bolded or #########surrounded by numerous octothorpes######### and preferably to be easily found by the mod. Please use the terms "vote" or "yeet.” Think before you post.

9. Do not discuss or share your night results before the night write-up is posted. However, you are free to continue to strategize between vote close and write-up.

10. GIFS ARE WELCOME BUT SHOULD BE HIDDEN IN SPOILER TAGS. Please respect those who may be playing with limited time, on phones, or with bad connections. If you do not know how to use spoiler tags, ask.

11. MOST IMPORTANTLY, KEEP THIS FUN!!!!

As stated previously: I am completely unsure how this game will go. This is a new concept game (or a conglomeration of many ideas) and I welcome (preferably) constructive feedback (please PM me directly if you'd like). Telling me (or any other players) how much you hate this game (+/- me) will not help me to improve upon some mechanics that are well-liked vs those that are abhorred.

It does not. Bounties *MAY* play into who gets voted/yeeted so if you'd rather not vote but put a price on someone's head (BOUNTY), DO ITTTT.

Correct, some anonymity. Only you will know who you put a bounty on.

Negative? Questionable. Could I imagine someone putting a bounty on someone as a joke? Yes. Would I encourage that? Not really, no.

I mean what people get for voting someone with a bounty on them. I assume it’s secret since I don’t see it anywhere, but I’ve missed out before by assuming things are obscure on purpose instead of asking.

I didn't see a reason to keep it a secret

We still don't know what happens if others vote for someone with a bounty on them though.

Also thinking through whether it even makes sense to keep bounties secret from each other since you can kind of narrow it down from who doesn't vote? Idk.

That was my assumption too, but I learned my lesson in the casino game with the unchangeable bets to ask for clarification if possible
