If other bounties come up I'm open to moving my vote, but I'd rather get an understanding of the mechanics we're operating under, than not.

A strong wolf read, or a weak one? I'd vote a strong wolf read sure, but that's not something I usually get D1. So if I get a weak wolf read, I'd move there over a village read +bounty obviously, probably move there over a neutral read +bounty, but it kind of depends on the strength of the wolf read. Knowing how the game is going to work mechanically is useful.

I don’t fully understand what a bounty gets you (with the caveat being that I’m behind and won’t get caught up until this evening), so I don’t see the benefit of pursuing bounties over wolf reads (weak or strong) yet.

For the person I'm think is wolfy. I don't see any rewards for being on a bounty vote.

Idk AM. We don’t know the specifics of these mechanics. My theory right now is voting kills people and bounties also kill people. If there’s a benefit for voting for the bountied player, then I would vote there. Same for if there’s a benefit to voting elsewhere. So if I vote for a bountied player, I guess I’m just adding on to the likelihood that they will die. But I am not certain.

I mean, the way bounties work in real life is there's a reward for either bringing that person in or killing them. I wouldn't assume that a bounty makes someone more likely to die other than providing an incentive for people to vote there. But this doesn't seem like the Casino game, where there was a clear incentive to get on a leading vote because the bigger payouts could give the village bloc more voting power. We don't know what happens if a bountied person gets voted out.

I don't want to make any assumptions right now.

There's this, but it could mean that bounties have their own mechanic or just that bounties will play into voting because of people like Zenge who immediately want to pursue the shiny object even without knowing what it is.

I still think it's worthwhile to have the vote end up on someone with a bounty to see what happens. Not just any old random person, but just keeping that in mind for when we get to more serious voting.

I don't know why my brain interpreted the "you may do one or the other but not both" as once you either voted or put a bounty on someone, you were locked into that method for the day, but it did.
