The OEC CFD Elite is incredible, no experience with the other one. It takes amazing pictures at a fraction of the radiation exposure compared to an image intensifier. It also has the ability to over-oblique to 55 degrees which really comes in handy.

Oec elite cfd is awesome. Just get that.

I've used the OEC Elite CFD at IPSIS training, and we have both an OEC Elite CFD and a Zenition 70 at the hospitals I've trained at. Never worked with Ziehm C-arms. Both models previously mentioned are excellent. The Zenition is cheaper and tends to use lower doses, but the images are slightly better with the Elite CFD. The Elite CFD is the best but also the most expensive C-arm I've worked with (although that would technically be a Philips Azurion Biplanar we sometimes end on that's actually awful for pain cause there's no filter for bone).

I have used old school ziehm solo for over 10 years and it has been a solid work horse with minimal maintenance requirements and good image quality. I have had access to several older Oec machines and still prefer Ziehm. I can’t speak to the higher end stuff that y’all might have access to

Has anyone used/purchased skanray scan-c or similar or a drtech Extron c arm? Saw them at a few conferences, how are the machines? Pretty solid price point

Isn't the CFD Elite like 150-200k?
Is anyone here using one of these in PP? Even at the volume of my old practice (70-80 ppd) this would be a tough sell. I'd rather have two 80-100k c-arms (which we did).
Currently I'm using a $60k OEC 9800 and it's fine.

Yes. The surgery center bought one and it was around $160,000
The elite is great. Our HOPD suite has 2. 3 years ago 450k lol
