Calc II

Hey guys, I was signing up for fall and my counselor was telling me I don't need Calc II because I'm taking calc I and will be taking stat. All of the schools I have looked up don't specifically require a full year of calc. Those that do say calc II can be substituted for stat.

So do I need calc II on top of calc I and stat?

Don't waste your time, unless you genuinely find it interesting. You got other classes to worry about like english!

Yah, I took general Stats, but any Stats would be easily the best math course there is.

Only take calc 2 if you're interested in calc. A lot of schools are requiring two semesters of math now, and most allow you to take stats for one of those semesters. Stats will be much more useful than calc 2, much as I love it.

I'd recommend a calculus-based statistics course for anyone who is truly math savvy. Otherwise, stats is a better course to take than calc 2.
