Especially where the 1.9 comes from 31.25% of 760 = 76 + 76 + 76 +7.6 + 1.9 = 237.5 torr I've seen this shortcut used throughout TBR books but don't really understand it. Thanks.

Click to expand... the 0.25% of the 31.25%. This level of accuracy is never needed on the mcat though. I would imagine to answer this you would be required to know that the answer is close to 250 (1/3 of 760). Upvote 0 Downvote
