I had an interview the 29th for LLU. Odd hearing them saying that was the first day of interviews since they had one the 6th it seems.

Sorry, my interview was actually on the 13th. I wasn't the first either, the other days were taken up before me. However, my situation was totally different from yours and I had to do a Skype interview since I am stationed in Japan. Maybe face to face interviews started the 29th? How did your interview go?

I went to their DPT informational session and apparently, they rank you according to your GPA and GRE scores. They do NOT look at the other requirements.

Sorry, you are correct. I guess what I meant to say was that the essays as well as the hours (it's either you complete the minimum or you don't) do not matter as much. Were you at the most recent informational session (few weeks ago)?

Those are both really great schools. It’s unfortunate that they don’t send out their acceptance letters till January & February. The waiting game is terrible.

Seeing your stats, I honestly think you have a great chance of getting into CSUN!!! Good luck man!

Anyone (not ED) hear back from any CA schools (acceptance, rejections, waitlist, or interviews)? I know LLU sent out interview invites as early as last month, but just wondering if anyone's heard from other schools?

I was ED. They gave me their decision around September 20th.

I heard back 2 weeks ago from western saying my application is now being reviewed by the admissions committee but I haven’t heard back from any other schools as of yet.

When did you submit your application to Western University?
I also applied to Azusa, did you receive an email from them confirming that they received your application?

Oh nice, you submitted early. I submitted the Azusa app last month and never received anything so I was just curious. I understand they're on rolling admissions so I know I submitted pretty late in the cycle.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated.

Yeah I submitted mine in July and barely got moved to the admissions committee because they have been receiving a lot of apps. So I had to wait 3 months. So you will probably have to wait at least a month if not longer.

Do you have any idea why Western U denied you and why so soon? Your stats are on par with their program averages.

Because a few of my classes "expired". Classes 7 years after matriculation are not eligible. I was only able to take 1 prerequisite course prior to matriculation..I had 3 outstanding prerequisites because of the rule. Therefore, I was denied.

Western told me only Anatomy and Physiology have the 7 year expiration date. So if it’s any other classes besides those then you should contact them.

Thanks for the heads up. I will contact them tomorrow and update on what they say on this forum.

EDIT: They said all science prerequisites.

That is weird even on there website it says there is only an expiration date for A & P. Sorry about the news tho!

Any new updates from anyone? This waiting game is killing me :(

Same. I've seen others receive interview invites from LLU and Western. I've yet to receive anything. In other news though, West Coast University sent out an e-mail today announcing that they've finally been accredited by CAPTE.

Anyone know when we could hear from USC?

Not sure, but I do know they have rolling admissions and I am supposed to submit my application soon but have yet to complete the supplemental essay.

LLU has already started sending out acceptance letters. They started last week I think.

Just received an e-mail from West Coast saying that I have been selected for an interview for sometime in January. Haven't given a date yet.

Just received an interview invitation for Fresno State. I must accept/decline by Dec. 18th. Not sure if I will attend due to potential interview conflicts with Univ. of Colorado and Regis University. Anyone else receive an interview for Fresno?

Been watching this thread for a while but never posted, but I got an interview invitation for Fresno State as well!

I just got my Fresno interview invite as well. Is anyone else concerned about the fact that UCSF has their interview weekend in the same date (according to the application timeline on their website)? Fresno's invite says they won't consider any alternative dates. Are they trying to make everyone forfeit a chance at admission to one or the other before even interviewing? Seems unfair.

I had a few friends that went through this process last year between SFSU/UCSF and Regis. They all had to choose which school to attend the interview with and weren't able to change dates for the other, thus forfeiting their app. :/ I'm going to have this issue with SFSU/UCSF, Regis, and U of Colorado... All on the same weekend lolol

Kind of a bummer, but best of luck to everyone!!!!

May I ask what were you guys' stats? I received a rejection from them. Thanks and congrats!!!
