If you got your medical license for CA during residency and now have completed residency and have moved on, do you still have to resubmit all the medical school, residency forms when filling out a renewal?

What kind of questions does the renewal form ask?

Renewal of an active license is pretty simple. Just fill out the online form. Pay the cash and you are set. There is a requirement to have completed some pain management CME training but hopefully you were able to pick that up during residency.

I didn't. This was a while back but because CA only requires one year of post grad to get licensed they didn't really care about all the residency completion stuff. I think they do ask when you renew but they didn't demand paperwork. The renewal primarily asks about CME and new lawsuits or criminal stuff.

Nevada was a much bigger pain in the butt but they require three years of GME so they did want proof of residency through completion of third year.
