Hi everyone,

The reason I ask this is I go to a Canadian college and there are like 5 different ways GPA can be calculated for Canadians I hear.

I also heard they don't tell you your GPA until after you submit to AMCAS and pay your fee. But the problem is that I'll be basing the schools I apply to based on my GPA compared to the average accepted people's GPA's and I won't be able to do this without my GPA. I don't want to find out my GPA is a lot lower than expected from Canadian standards and waste money applying to schools I am like 0.2 GPA underneath.

Could I call AMCAS and have them tell me my GPA? What would you recommend?

You could submit your AMCAS to only one school, wait for the GPA and then add schools (you can do that.) Im sure you can think of one school you want to apply to irregardless of GPA...
