Anyone know anything about this fellowship? Who would actually do one year of this? Kinda interesting...especially if you find a new marker! Freaking cool!

Interesting...is it AP or CP based? I would probably be interested in something like this.

When I start at Methodist in July, I'll let you know if I find out anything...

I highly recommend the cost of living in Houston. ;)

I was interested in applying for the fellowship this year but the program director required a subspecialty fellowship year first. The tools of the fellowship are certainly applicable to the CP world but they have not been implemented yet. So this is certainly designed for the academically inclined AP person. Considering MDAs oncologic case load it would certainly be a fantastic opportunity to get a research program started.

It is AP based, lots of GI, breast and GYN. You basically look at the immunos, molecular, etc. It's research heavy, again AP.

It's not that cheap. And what you save you spend in gas and electricity bill.
