Hi dabigatran,

following email i got it from south florida.

Thank you for your interest in the cardiology fellowship program at the
University of South Florida. All of our submitted applications went through a
thorough and rigorous fellowship committee review. At this time, we are unable
to ofer you an interview at the University of South Florida. Things may be
subject to change, and we will keep you updated if any changes do occur.
Thanks again for your interest, and the University of South Florida wishes you
good luck in all of your future endeavors.

I have the same question.. In addition, I have also not heard back from Mayo Rochester and Yale. Has anybody received rejections from these 3 programs?
thanks

CCF is still sending out interviews. They have 5 interview dates, 15 candidates each, and they send out invites in batches. They have 13-14 slots so they invite about 75 people.

I just got back from CCF. It is an amazing place.

I guess there is somehow some confusion. People keep IM'ing me regarding this post, so let me be clear... I WAS JUST KIDDING. I made this entire post up to be funny. I went through all this last year. I just posted this to lighten the mood a little for you kiddos.

Ok, obviously I'm joking.... just trying to lighten the mood a little. Boys (and girls), who invites & rejects you is out of your hands now. Just enjoy the ride.

I have been following your thread this week and I am amazed to see such good university invites for cards. Congratulations everyone!

Myself, applying for internal medicine and almost done with my ROL. I would like to get some input from the experts about the prospects of Cards fellowship from the following programs. Fellowship placements is a major determinant of ranking for me. And, I am FMG.

1. University of Arkansas, Little Rock
2. University of Oklahoma, Ok city
3. University of Connecticut, Farmington
4. SLU
5. University of Kansas SOM, Kansas City
6. Henry Ford, Detroit
7. St Luke's Roosevelt, NY
8. SUNY-Buffalo
9. Medical College of Georgia, Augusta

THank you well in advance and goodluck for interviews!

In my very personal opinion, all of the above programs are similar, I don't think any of them significantly stands out in front of the others. J1 is a curse, and I would definitely go for H-1-offering programs.
