Cool. I'm ready for the lynch to be done so I can prove I'm a villager. Not sweating the lynch because I have way to much other stuff going on this week that are of bigger concerns. Then you guys can go back to your escalla vs STL waffling. At least I won't have to be involved in deciding that mess.

There is a difference between talking things out and attacking people. You have gone into the territory of attacking people and I decided to go back, and I am sorry. I don't have a lot of issues, I don't have anything. All I am trying to do is play the game. There is no need for the attacking stuff, you are the only person who consistently has done so each game, and just makes me feel like I am soo stupid, should never play these games ever b/c I am trying to work stuff out on my own. I am sorry I haven't played 100s of WW games. But I am still allowed to work out strategy having played less games. I am still allowed to theorize. Guess what? I will have wrong theories, and I will make wrong assumptions. I am a human being and less experienced then you. And I am allowed to reason it out without everything I do being 100% called and being the worst thing ever. I am allowed to investigate the bounds of a game also, as in the past, I was able to expand the boundaries of the game by just thinking a bit outside the box. I know that won't happen every game, but I can at least try...

I am sorry for going back at you before. I have zero against you. Like nothing. I just don't want to feel attacked every single game at the end of the day....

My thought at this point, is I just don't know. I think devyn is the only one I am not skeptical of lol... Escalla I am trusting based off of feeling, even though she is the most logical. The next logical is hedgie as she isn't the only one who hasn't been blocked by yarn, but still seems unlikely. Something is getting me about sobsob, I have a bad feeling that he is the wolf at the end of the day, but nothing to concrete say on that, just feels. So yeah....

ig.... unlynch STL.... not sure who I am going to switch to yet...

Look not everything I say is meant as an attack... I think it is often taken that way by new players who do not understand my playing style and my personality... I am very blunt and very sarcastic.....

If you didn't notice earlier in the game when SOV was not letting up I called him daft as well as a few other things... it is just the way I am... and pretty much everyone gets that and does not take it to heart and a lot of people just give it right back... it is best to have a thick skin when playing WW especially with me and a few other players... we will call you out often and bicker sometimes... it is best not to take offense and roll with the punches

that being said I am still wary of SOV as well... I believe that he could be the unseerable wolf if there is one, but then we would just have to lynch him on the gut alone

Nah I gotcha, and I will admit I am probably a bit touchier than normal this past month, so I am sorry once again. I think I am going to throw logic completely out the window at this point and lynch sobsob. @StartingoverVet, don't want a repeat of last game where you didn't get a chance to defend, so tagging you so you hopefully see this before the lynch closes. Idk, escalla is most logical to me, but with the responses I am getting via pm and on here, I am finding it very difficult to believe that she is actually the wolf. Hedgie is second most logical, and would make the next most sense, but I am not really getting the feeling that she is a wolf. Then sobsob is the most illogical based off stuff we have, but I am getting the most feels off of him...

I would only complain if I said I was going to be away and then suddenly out of nowhere my name is dropped in the mix.
And some other stuff I still can't talk about.

Anyway….there is really nothing left to say.
My role was proven last night. (i stole woo hoo).
I revealed my name right away.
I DROVE the lynch on Phil when she wasn't even a thought.
I was the second vote on allie that lead to the first lynch of her (the first vote was EC… ha ha.. bet they never thought that would backfire).
I stand on my record. The only thing wolfy about me is my past, not this game.
 
I am just going to leave my vote... I can't argue anymore

if not hope to god someone investigates escalla or STL tonight and we have our answer tomorrow
 
What is the count at?

To be fair, I don't know about SOV....I don't think it's him. I'm sticking with Hedgie. That's just my feeling on it. I think someone can avoid the catnip cause I don't think it's STL based on our convos and I obviously know it's not me. I don't see anyone lying about their results since they're confirmed villagers obviously.

So whoever has the catnip, please confirm me tonight and with STL having the yarn, I think that's the best shot. Hopefully we won't even have a night and this just ends now.
 
What is a midget to do in times like these? Stress and run around like a maniac.... no. Calmly defend... yes.

The cat colony decides that hedgie must be responsible for the deaths. They attack her, drag her, scratch her, bite her. She just lays there, accepting her fate.

Okay so I tried to get rid of the ball of yarn and was unable to do so. Also found out I cannot give away items, so those were two things I learned. Ik this looks not ideal to me, and I had a bad feeling that the wolf would try and pull this, but I promise I am still not the wolf... But yeah, in the wolves position I would do the same thing and then with a kill the night after getting me lynched. Ik you guys are going to be hard pressed to believe me at this point and I can completely understand that, but yeah.... No clue where I am in terms of post count on my phone so I am just going to blabber on for a second and yeah I should be good now
 
I predicted this would happen in my PM to DVMDream.

The obvious conclusion is STL couldn't attack.
But, if I were a wolf, I wouldn't attack to throw the suspicion on STL, get him lynched and then attack tonight for the win.
Also, the scratching post is a possibility.

Waiting for results from the catnip. Hopefully a villager had it, and it will lower the odds.

In the end, I will probably lynch STL, but I want to make sure we examine all the possibilities first.

DVMD, any way we can extend lynch tomorrow until 5:30 EST? If you guys want it earlier still, that's ok. I will just have a hard time getting on here in the morning and 2:30 est is 12:30 my time.

To be fair, if I was a wolf going for the win, I would not have told you I had the yarn last night, as that would make me the obvious target the next day when there was no kill. So I am trying to think from each player's perspective what they would do if they were the wolf. Okay so:

My perspective: I have the yarn, don't tell villager's I have the yarn, claim I have some innocuous item like the mouse or the laser pointer, get out of the lynch, have a no kill night, and then I would have to wing it and see how in the world I can win

Escalla's perspective: Due to how me and her essentially have made a pact of trust, she would probably have killed devyn last night, and lynched SoV with me tonight for a game over.

Devyn's perspective: Kill escalla last night, vote SoV with me today, game over

SoV's perspective: Okay so here is his dilemma. If he kills devyn, he knows me and escalla will vote to knock him out. If he kills me, then escalla and devyn will vote to knock him out. And if kills escalla, me and devyn would vote to knock him out. So his best chance would be to no kill a night, frame me, I die at lynch, kill tonight , game over (especially since he can steal items).

In every scenario somehow everyone is voting to lynch me and not you. That makes no sense as you have been on the top
Of everyone's lynch list. This is a weird attempt to make me look suspicious.

Yes, as I was blocked last night... My point is that seeing as how I was blocked last night, that would be the rational decision to choose the person not blocked over the person blocked assuming a kill occurred. So, I am going to disagree with you on this and say if ANYONE was killed last night, they would have voted for you over me. This is not a weird attempt to make you look suspicious, but this mistake in logic as an attempt to mislead is making me feel even better about you being the wolf. So the rational thing for you to do would have been to not kill last night if you were the wolf.

Ok, I'm back.

I did have the scratching post last night and I did choose to climb it. I was just told that I climbed it and was up there last night, so I honestly don't know if that could have possibly prevented an attack or not. I've been assuming that it's protective since you climb and stay up there, but I haven't ever gotten confirmation on that either, it just makes sense to have a protection item in the game given what else is out there.

The other is STL having the yarn and not being able to perform an action. I think it would have been more wolfy to try and hide the fact that he had the yarn and hope to claim something else later....but then he could say that he would do that. But that doesn't seem like a great idea....
 
Seeing as SOV had the laser pointer, I'm assuming devyn had the catnip? Unless Hedgie had it?

I'll check in tomorrow to see what she says with that.

I'm going to a feedlot for lambs and kids tomorrow morning....all of this slaughter stuff is really taking a toll on me, especially the horses today. It was heartbreaking. Anyway, that's why I've asked for the deadline to be extended a bit if possible. Hopefully that works for everyone.
 
SOV, was stealing the laser pointer from me the only time you've stolen anything? I think you said that earlier. What has the mouse ever done? Do you just pass it around or do random things with it for fun?

I did not steal last night. Didn't want to take away the catnip accidentally.
Stealing history:
night 1: BT was here not me.
night 2: allieh had nothing.
night 3: 98cats had nothing.
night 4: 98 cats had nothing.
night 5: had the yarn and was blocked.
night 6: laser pointer from Escalla.
night 7: refrained.

I had the mouse once. was given a choice to eat it or pass it on to show what a good mouser you are. Dyachei (i think) told me that when she ate it she was just told "it tasted good" so when I had it (night 3 or so?) I gave it to Dyachei (i think). If the details matter I can go back and check, but it seems just a fun item. Didn't seem practical.
 
FYI: I am going to be out most of this lynch (heading to Philly)… will try to check in, but not guarantee until right before it closes, so I want to get my defense in now, cause it looks like I might be the prime target for some reason (maybe the last umpteen games I have been a non-villager).

1 - I would check with DVMD about ties… cause one is pretty likely. IF she is going to kill both players, I say, leave the tie, even if it is me.. I am happy to die taking out a wolf with me. It is a good chance to win. IF she has some other way to break the tie, then please don't as that gives a 50% chance I am going to be lynched and villagers likely lose (unless scratching post saves us).

2- Please try to ignore the fact I have been a villager so rarely. this is likely biasing your opinions. I came to this game late, and it was short, so for once I was able to survive as a villager .

3 - Go back and look at the voting patterns. NO ONE has been as consistent as me. I was the SECOND person to vote to lynch Allie on her first lynch. Only EC, a wolf was first, and it is pretty unlikely a second wolf would start a bandwagon. Then I was the ONLY person to push to get Phil lynched. Devyn joined me to start the bandwagon. But.. I brought up Phil due to my analysis of the game play. There was no reason to throw Phil under the bus then….. it would have been way too risky, and since she is the last wolf to go, no way I could have been converted after that. And I have struggled every round to find the right person to lynch after that. That is not wolfy behavior.

4 - At least I have been seer-ed. There is no logical reason to come after me when we still have 2 un-seered players.

5_ I was open about my role name from the beginning in my group.

6 - Am I really going to be converted by any wolves in a game so short. I had no great ability.

7- And if anyone argues that I had to be a wolf otherwise why wouldn't DVMD just mod kill BT, no loss for this role.. .Why should she? BT announced she was leaving SDN, and only 1 night had passed. Why not replace her. She was also going to replace FTB, but FTB showed up briefly.

That's all.
Hopefully you can see through the past bias of me usually being the wolf, otherwise we are dead meat.

I have no items as of now, so either DVMD took them all away (which means if we lose this lynch, wolves win tonight), or I am no help… Just being honest here.

I am sticking with STL just for the suspicious way he tried to slant me as the choice.. although that Bengal role name sounds like the ambiguous name that mods like…… although maybe it was meant to make her look suspicious.

Ok I investigated you last night, but since you had the scratching post you were too high up for me to see you which I gave hell to DVM about (she can attest to that) - all I could see was that you had spots but were too high up for me to see if you were tame or not..... :lame:
That fits with a bengal of course. So apparently the scratching post protects from investigation and I assume from attack as well.

My thought with last nights attack is that it either did not happen or that it was blocked as last time a cat escaped it was noted in the write-up.

TBH this game is frustrating the ****e out of me and DVM has gotten an earful of my frustrations - poor her (although she did want more action in the game, so she got that)

I was really hoping to have a definitive answer from the catnip last night. I am tempted to stick with my lynch for STL... I always think SOV is suspicious, but he seems to be at least posting semi-rationally right now which makes me hope he might actually be a villager.

Okay, so I had a dream last night, and maybe this means nothing at all, but it was about the game. At the end, you were some non-cat (like not tiger, not lion, not panther, etc.) that were able to kill and wanted to rid the world of domestic felines, but was a chaos character not a wolf. Okay, I have no clue how in the world that could work out, but clearly that has been in my thoughts recently lmao.

With point number 1 , SoV knows this point is a moot point. In games I have looked back at, as well as games I have played in, the mod has not disclosed how they reveal ties when asked. They just make some vague comment like "Why don't you try and find out" or "you will see 🙂". So that first point is 100% moot and irrelevant, as we are never going to find out how DVMD breaks ties. Not saying that someone shouldn't ask, but Ik what the answer is going to be already.

Point 2 doesn't mean much to me. You are a high chance of a convert normally. It's not that you normally start off the game as a wolf (although i feel like you do a bit more frequently than others), it's more that you are a good person to convert b/c you can be very influential once converted and are a very good addition to wolf teams.

Point 3: Yes, you have a stellar voting history. I can explain that in four different ways. One, you are a villager and a damn good wolf hunter. Two, you are the unseerable wolf and you did that to ensure wolves a win at the end of the game, and they willingly went down for you. Three, you are a chaos character who can kill, and thus knocking out the wolves wasn't such a terrible idea, and you are also still a damn good wolf hunter. Four, there are two wolf teams, you are the lone separate wolf. Not saying that all of these are great theories (just listing all the possibilities that can come to mind), but two is a strong possibility in my mind.

Point 4: Well, for me, not going to vote for myself, and I guess I am still "irrationally" trusting escalla. So , very true...

Point 5: So was everyone else here, well except devyn, but the whole unconvertable thing makes sense to me.

Point 6: That's an irrelevant point. First, you are a stellar wolf, and you know that. If I was a wolf, you would be at the top of my list of people to convert. Second off, converts may or may not lose their abilities. That point is also moot as philliab was a convert, and had no role whatsoever.

Point 7: I agree with you on point 7 that this shouldn't be a point of contention.

If there is a tie, I will not kill off both players this close to end game. That is all I will say, as if there is a tie, I have not decided how I will break it, but it will be broken and only one person will be lynched.

Escalla, it's perfectly fine, as I said yesterday, just make the decision that you would normally make without our influence and own it. DVMD - Escalla mentioned earlier that she wasn't going to play the waffle game (and the decision she made she would stick with), and given that the wolf isn't going to change the vote for me, I think it's probably safe to end it. If it is SoV, which I am pretty sure it is, the game is over as she will just steal item from escallla, then kill escalla. Good game though, and well played sobsob.
