Just listed. Actually, mine are more like [Entry * Entry * Entry], since I was running out of room. It still looks good, but only takes up 2 lines instead of 11. The *'s are actually small diamond bullets.

Mine is two pages total. I minimized margins though. I'm sure some people's will be longer.

I just started on the resume/CV now and was wondering if and how much you included as description for each activity. If I end up describing all of them even for two lines it will def. be more than 2 or 4 pages.
And do they really want us to write down relevant course work taken in undergrad? Seems like a really redundant task? Ha?

I had 24 entries total, between jobs, extracurriculars, and volunteer stuff. They averaged 1-2 lines of description (plus 1 line for the title of each entry). I also had 5 lines for school and 11 miscellaneous lines. Total is 2 full pages.
I didn't see anything about relevant coursework. Where did that come from?

Repetitive, I agree. Let them dig around through the info they already have. Though this should also apply to the rest of the redundancy that is the CV...🙄

how do we know when and where to send in the LOR? I just submitted the secondary and have no instructions for sending the letters. i saw that we need 2 (1 D.O.) but that is all. any help? do they send an email after you submit the secondary asking for the letters?

Im SUPER interested in CCOM, LOVE Chicago (Went to Northwestern for Undergrad..).. Here's my quick/random question..
Do D.O. Schools (particularly CCOM) take the highest MCAT score from ONE exam or the highest scores from subsets of multiple exams?
Im asking because they take the highest grade from retakes in science classes, so (in my case).. Im hoping they do the same for the MCAT!
If anyone has info, let me know! Good luck to everyone!

Anyone else using VirtualEval? If so, how long did it take for either AZCOM or CCOM to update their website with the status of your physician & other recommendation letter?

They had my LORs for a month or so, but didn't update the Applicant Checklist page in the portal until about a week after submission of the secondary (which was just a few days ago).
They all have different methods (most recent vs. avg. vs. best subsections), but the cherry picking method you're hoping for is probably the least common. You should explore the website, but there's a good chance you won't find it there. Email them if that's the case.
Not electronically, but they'll snail mail it. If you need to provide an address, give them this one:

Yea got the same emails, they also sent something snail mail, I have a feeling that they send it to everyone but you never know.
I am in the same boat...waiting! I have been complete since 8/1, but I think in my case they are waiting for my second MCAT scores from the 7/18 test.
This has been the most anxious time for me! Since everything is in and all we can do is wait to see if we get an interview or not.
I think when I get my first rejection I will lose it!

Complete at CCOM since 8/6 - and I think the timeline is about one month?

Yeah, I've been complete from CCOM since 8/12 (I know, not very long), but anyone before then get one yet? I got to visit last week as well and they have a nice campus and my ex-roommate who just started really likes it there. The people are all friendly and talkative. I liked it.

i've been complete at ccom since 8/15. I got home today and there was a letter from Midwestern University in my mail box...I almost cried because I assumed it was a rejection letter from CCOM...but it was just AZCOM telling me I was complete. phew! good luck you guys, CCOM and AZCOM both are near the top of my list.

I was worried with that same letter.
Before opening my letter, I held it against a bright light and looked to see if I could spot the words "unfortunately", "regret", "sorry", or "you're screwed" through the envelope. Seeing none of these I opened it to find a letter saying that I should fill out the secondary on line.

My biggest hope with CCOM is the fact that my letter writer told me "when" I get the interview, he will make some special phone calls for me. It'll suck if I have to tell him I didn't get an interview!

as a follow up, I've just received a secondary from AZCOM and it uses the same website/login as CCOM. But now on my AZCOM "checklist" it already has my MCAT scores, and is "expecting" my supplemental apps and LORs.
so either they are expecting MCAT scores from a future date...or you may have to follow up with them....hope this helps!

I'm not sure when they begin interviewing, but I was told on the phone yesterday that they review files as soon as they have all of your info (like, I was complete there on 8/1, and although they were expecting new MCAT scores, they reviewed my application already)....Weird huh? I thought they would wait for my new scores to come in.

They told me that review your file as soon as it is complete. Someone said they start interviewing 3rd week of September and I hope we all get in that first batch of interviews! 🙂

Hey all! I visited the campus today! It is a really nice campus. If anyone has any questions, let me know 🙂 A person in admissions said that the interviews would start in the middle of Sept as someone mentioned before. Interviews are granted through email. She also said if you are complete as of yet, you are early, and in good shape! 🙂

so how many LORs can we send if we are not using a premed committee? Has anybody called the school and asked already?
I have 4 LORs (2 science, 1 nonscience, 1 professional) in addition to my physician LOR.

I called CCOM and they said 6ish. The person wanted to stress quality over quantity. In the end, I think I sent them 7. Didn't hurt cause I got an invite to interview (9/22) 🙂

There are hotels within a mile away. Midwestern is off of Highland which seems like a busy street. I wish I could give you specifics but I was only in the area for a week.
ahhhh i am thisclose to calling and asking about my application...but posting here will relieve some anxiety for now...
