I sent in my secondary about a week ago and haven't heard any thing yet, which isn't surprising, but it sounds like a lot of you have been waiting a month or more. Is that the standard for CCOM? Also, what are the avg. GPA/MCATs for accepted students?

I sent in my secondary 2 weeks ago and still nothing so I'm hoping it is. How long was everyone else complete before getting an interview invite?

Hey for anyone that has interview or is familiar with CCOMs interview style, is it one-on-one or group? Also, if one-on-one, are there two seperate interview back to back?

Does anyone know approximately how far out interviews are being scheduled right now? I've heard that AZCOM is into January already. I should be complete early next week. CCOM is a top school for me, so I wanted to check on this before scheduling another interview I was just offered.

Just scheduled my interview. The available dates were the last week of Oct with 10/23 the first option and 10/30 the last option. Good luck!

Just scheduled my interview for October 26! So excited🙂

Thanks! Hopefully I can get in that soon. It's a nightmare for me to get time off of work right now because everyone is on fall vacations. That range would be perfect. :xf: Has it been taking a while to get scheduled? Will my 3.65/31 help speed it up??

I received a complete e-mail on 29 August and got the interview invite today, so about a month. I don't know if that's standard, but my stats are similar to yours.......3.5/30

I ?think? the admissions director mentioned that the adcom would be meeting sometime at the end of each month. I do remember him saying that a letter would be sent out 2-4 weeks after our interview with a decision. I was with the second group but I would think your batch should be out pretty soon :xf:. Good Luck!

Just called them and they said that admissions committee did meet but she didn't tell me when. She also said that if you did get accepted the dean still needs to sign off on the acceptance before they can process any of the information. So here's to wating and being patient...:scared:

@ doxy, you interviewed on first day? which person were you? i think i saw you! i was there! =D

I was complete 9/2 and still haven't heard anything. I e-mailed them today to see what's up, and they gave me a generic answer...This has to be one of the slower schools, but the arizona campus gave me an invite ONE day after i was complete... We should hear something soon though..

Nah def not the first day I don't think maybe the 2nd or 3rd? I really don't even remember.

Damn I am having dreams about this school I couldn't fall asleep until 4AM last nite and hada wake up at 7, I would love to go here I hope they feel the same way 😕 I don't really know how "well" my interview went, definitely wasn't my best performance. I've been compulsively checking the online page to see if the "accepted students checklist" appears

Anyone hear anything or get an updated website?:xf:

I interviewed 9/22, its been 2 weeks but I have not heard anything. No phone calls or emails. And my online portal is not updated either. Anyone else hear anything back?

interviewed 18th, was the first batch, still nothing..

No news yet either. Interviewed late september.

Check the portal... Looks like Acceptances are being posted.

Woo Hoo!

did you guys get an email? or just straight through the portal?

Im in! interviewed on the 18th of september i just checked my portal

Accepted...but will not be attending. I am sure it is a great school, but I was not impressed with the negative comments about other programs from a few students.

Just got an interview for here!!!! So excited!!! 😀😀

I have to book a flight for my next interview tomorrow and was hoping I could find out whether I've been accepted to CCOM or not so that i could cancel the interview if i got accepted. Emailed admissions and they told me that the dean had to sign off on the decision before they could tell me any information regarding my status. I may be getting a bit paranoid but does anyone think this is a bad sign? AHH! so worried.

was your interview around sept 22?
I interviewed then and my portal is still empty. its pretty tough since other people who interviewed the same day were told they have been accepted already.

for all those who have been accepted, what do you guys see on your page? Is it this message at the bottom of Accepted Student Checklist

"You have been accepted into more than one program at Midwestern University. Please use the option below to view the status check for your desired program"

Because when I click on Matriculation/payment.. nothing shows up but yet I have the above message for the accepted student checklist.. also when i do try to click on the little box to 'submit', there's nothing to choose or highlight..

Congrats to those who were accepted!

That's too bad. As one of the students who takes you guys on tours the admissions directly tells us not to criticize other schools. That being said the students response is a reflection of them, not the school. I believe slipped when someone asked me about a specific school last week. But my point is that you may want to base your decision to attend a school on more than a few students. I say this because I love the majority of my classmates but some of then there are others that I just scratch my head in amazement at some of the things they do (I'm sure they do the same regarding me). Every class at every school has people who are different and you may not get along with.

Anyways congrats on having options and I wish you the best!

Hey I know this is wayy too early to look into but are there any specific off campus apartment complex's/areas where students live?

The majority live in Brook Hill, City View and Versailles. I wouldn't say it's too early to look into if you are pretty sure on the school. I waited until about April to look into it and there was very limited availability at that point and also prices you pay go up A LOT once April hits. If you can lock something down before then and you will save yourself $50-100 a month. Also I know brook hill and city view offer MWU discounts or other incentives so ask about those.

Ya they have websites but I dunno what they are. I'm sure you can find them just as easily as me 😉

As far as roommates goes most found theirs through our facebook group. Someone will create it soon now that acceptances have gone out.

Hey Guys! Congrats to everyone who has been accepted! And I wish everyone luck who's still waiting to hear!!!

I created a facebook group... nothing too amazing, but still something for the class of 2014!!!! so that we can all start to get to know each other. Its CCOM class of 2014!
🙂

I'm IN!!! 😀

Now how in the world can I afford it? I don't come from some huge family of doctors... it me, myself, and I ...dragging the boyfriend along for the ride...

How can I afford this.

It's between LECOM and CCOM.... I'm from NY.... how is this possible if the gov't caps you at $224 ish???

I NEED HELP IF CCOM IS TRULY WORTH THE EXTRA COST....

Most likely an alternate, hate to break it to you, happened to me last year in very early in the game. They were my top choice too

Edit: Mine never said that I was accepted in to more than one program but it did show accepted student checklist, so hopefully you're accepted.

Congrats!!!! I remember how much you wanted it last year, must feel really good

Thank you DarkHorizon!!!! I am so excited...my long wait is over 🙂

okay....I need to make sure I am not dreaming. So if we have the accepted student checklist and we can submit things on it....than we are accepted? holy smokes!

Does anyone know how often they post new interview dates? I can't make any of the ones that they posted for the last batch of invites. Will I mess myself up by waiting until they post new ones?

has anyone called the office for a status check before?
