My lease begins August 1. Two of the people I will be living with are starting their first year of medical school so I am going to let them break in the house before I arrive Sept 10ish! I actually want to do that clinical program that they are offering!! It seems worthwile. I am excited to meet you guys in the fall as we tough our way through the MPH/MS programs at CECS.

Okay Hey you guys---I was thinking...we have all been talking and we are going to be in classes together in the fall. Shouldn't we know each other's REAL name? 😉 😉 Ill go first, my name is Sheryl.

Hi Folks - I'm waitlisted - hope to be soon accepted. I probably would have got my app earlier if I didn't have to wait 2 months for an LOR.. 🙂

Has there been any movement on the waitlist? About how many people are waitlisted?

Could someone type up the books we need to have read for the Fall? Thanks

Is the Darmouth Program accredited?

I went to New Hampshire for the weekend to drop some stuff off and unpack. The campus is looking beautiful, and I am sure we are going to have a fun year. See you all soon

sounds like the dartmouth campus isn't that exciting. also bummed to hear about the lack of networking. seems that the program is geared towards those already in the field (physicians, healthcare professionals) so, if you don't mind me asking, for those going there out of undergrad..what's the reason? is it to get a quick MPH before med school? anybody hear anything more about the curriculum/courses and their usefulness??

i'm debating between med school vs. a career in public health or nutrition. is this program also beneficial for people who want to work in public health and not go the med school route? trying to decide between Boston's medical sciences program, dartmouth, and columbia's nutrition program.

please help 🙂

I noticed no one has posted anything on this in a few years. I am considering the CECS program for fall 2008, and I was wondering what you guys felt about the program and how it helped you in your future careers or in med school admissions. My main concern is the program's reputation. I know it can't be ranked because it is only a program of public health, but I'd really like to know your takes on the experience.

Thanks!
