I am going to scribe for a DO's private practice OMM clinic and she wants me to find a free or cheap online scribe training course. Anyone know of a free/cheap online course?

Hmmm.. that's a little weird that they can't train you themselves. I'm pretty sure the only way to get online scribe training is to be hired by a scribing company

I work as a scribe for scriberamerica. If you look on quizlet and type ScribeAmerica in the search box there, you will basically find everything we had to learn. Acronyms, abbreviations, basic medical procedures, symptoms and sings for common treatments, etc...

You will need to know medical terminology, a medical abbreviations, be able to spell, and have good typing skills.

This med term course is free and we use it as part of the scribe training curriculum where I work. It's a good resource if you're just starting out.
