Civilian Dental Assisting Jobs Overseas

Hello,
I have been searching for information and help for a while, my boyfriend is in the AF and wants to return to Japan, however I want to work as a dental assistant. I have seen posting for stateside dental assistant work but nothing overseas.... is it possible to work overseas -say in Japan- as a civilian dental assistant? Any information or direction would be greatly appreciated!!!

I haven't been in an overseas military dental clinic in this century but...
The civilian DA's we had were the souses of military personnel. I don't think they applied until after they arrived.
