I heard more than one person say that. Ms. Face came by once and her constant teasing kept me from training. It made for a good laugh. Well at least she and I got a good laugh out of it; the guys didn't like all of her jokes

.
Anyway, if you are comfortable with yourself and can keep yourself from thinking that way, BJJ is a lot of fun. At first I refused to do BJJ for that reason, but not anymore. Even though I do grapple all the time and I am triangle choked from time to time, I never question my sexuality or feel uncomfortable with being in those positions.
I prefer it over other arts because, brute strength doesn't ever guarantee you a victory. Furthermore, I feel that all the best fighters in the UFC have decent ground game as well as good striking abilities. For example, I think that A. Silva is a great athlete, but don't feel he would be so dominant in the UFC if it weren't for his proficiency in both Muay Thai and BJJ.
In any case, some one proficient in BJJ is quite dangerous, and more than capable of taking out larger opponents who don't have any ground game.
