I've turned in a bunch, but my committee letter isn't in yet 🙄.

Just found out I landed a pretty huge leadership position @ work. I think it's because I'm so bored that they wanted to give me something to do 🙂

Congrats! I just heard that I have an interview on Thurs, and another person who may be my future boss sent me an email asking me to apply online! Two good job prospects in one day!

Now I just have to figure out what to wear to this interview....

i see you haven't submtited Georgetown yet. neither have I. that thing is a beast.

Any news on the TX schools yet? some of them sent out interview invites already.

Suit is the best attire. unless you're thinking of tuxedo like someone said. :laugh:
 
man, this thread has really slowed down lately. i'm guessing that'll change when 0c comes back this weekend

The reviews were excellent. I wanna watch it but I have no one to go with. None of my buddies are exactly HP fans.:laugh:

i wonder what the mods would do if they knew that he opened another account? maybe he already has and has been keeping low key

It's for an ER tech position. A girl I know that got a job at the hospital recently said she wore a dress shirt and nice pants. Does that equal suit for men? I'm thinking no, just because it's such a low job on the totem pole.

I wouldn't wear a suit for that. Some nice Dockers, a tucked in dress shirt, and some dress shoes should do it.
 
Woohoo. I finally clicked the "submit" button for my primary. I should have done it a week ago...but o well. It feels so exciting to be a candidate for the class of 2014. 😀

You know, ksmi, if you're still posting now you might have a crappy seat for Harry Potter (which by the way I just got home from seeing early 🙂).
People were lining up in the lobby at 7pm!!! Crazies.
I have no new secondaries today, just Vanderbilt's email.
I vow to finish my 2 tomorrow.

Yeah, it was good. I didn't think it was quite as epic as the book, though.
Still a great movie and continuation of the HP series.
I just think my expectations were too high for it, since the 6th book is one of my favorite books of all time. Of course, I might have confused some things I thought were in the 6th book that were really in the 7th. Stuff gets confusing when you haven't read it in two years, you know?
