I feel like I was really, really close... to the point that I want to go through the exam and stuff and look for points.
I don't want the prof to think I'm being a dick, but damnit, I don't want to take this exam. I think I had a 69.something. Is it unreasonable to want to go through it??

I think it's totally reasonable, plus (I'm guessing from what you said about study guides) you're going to retake a similar exam, so it can only benefit you to know areas of strengths and weaknesses, right?
e .4 away from the pass? I can't help but want to fight about it.
.
I'm more than mildly peeved. I had a 69.? And I'm not sure I want to ask for the decimals since I doubt he rounds up. Being so soso so close makes me want to look for points. Because lugging a binder with these 35 study guides along on my motherfracking vacation is just making me... not look forward to it. My husband doesn't deserve that - he paid for what was supposed to be a break from all this for both of us.
Yeah, I know it's still my fault and my grade, but if I'm like .4 away from the pass? I can't help but want to fight about it.
Good lord this pile of material is intimidating.

No good. Still have to do it - have a 69.2 and that's that. Fuuuuuuuu. Here's hoping we can still enjoy the vacation a bit.
Passed my Anatomy oral final today!!!!!WOOOHOOO!!!!
One more final left!!! Then first year is in the books (hopefully I passed everything else 😱 )
oral anatomy final?? 😱 what?!?!😱
You might want to edit that. I got in trouble for a similar post already yesterday. That language is frowned upon in this forum (just a heads up to help you avoid trouble).Missing: All the f *** I used to give. If found, please contact me. A reward is offered for their safe return.
(former home of unproductive whinging)
ugh. So that's where this whinging came from. Can you please take it back, Pooter?? 😛
Ah, but if you love a whinge, you must set it free.![]()

...but at least i don't have to retake the class if i get one D.
Interesting. I just failed my first test of vet school. And still got an A in the course (pharm).
Ah vet school. So ... interesting.

So is 'failed' below a 60 or below a 70? Because I've either failed an exam like twice or enough times that I'd probably rather not count. Lol.
Oh. In our case, it's typically the 'standard' 90+/A, 80-90/B, etc. So <60=F. In this particular case, I got a 52. But I didn't study a single minute for it, so I don't feel too bad. When you need 14% to get an A in the class (I could have walked in, put down 'B' for everything, and done just fine), and you've got another final coming hot on the heels of that one where you need an 82% to get an A, it's a no-brainer which one you study for.
also, we fail if we get below a 70,
So yes, below a 70 in a course is failing here too. I meant on an individual exam, though. It's more of a personal designation - meaning that I've made a lot of 60-somethings but not much below 60. Hence the original comment.
And I realize my posts probably make me sound like a bad student. Well, kind of but not exactly - I do okay for the most part, but anatomy doesn't jive well and phys is more of an instructor related thing. I just need to do well in two days and I'll be free of it... trying to stay motivated. So SO much material. And my cat is ill so I have to take her to the teaching hospital today, again.
