It sounds like they were at a moderate altitude relative to the building AND had a decent camera...sounds like someone had either set it up or was "prepared"...I don't know if I ever reallly "look outside and up on top of buildings", so the whole thing seems a bit suspicious to me...

maybe I'm just crazy
 
As neat as it looks, that picture is photoshopped. You'll never see that defined of a foot through the uterine wall and all the fascia and muscle and fat between the uterus and the skin.

If you look at it...the only way a baby could have that force is if its back were up against mom's back, and kicking straight out. Well...its the wrong foot for that to be the case. If you look at it...it is the right foot, but on the left side of mom's body.

Plus...everyone has abdominal muscles and two layers of placenta and a layer of skin🙂

Dude, come on. Even if she had no muscle definition she'd still HAVE abominal muscles there. And a uterine wall. And then all the layers of her skin.

Obviously, you can see fetal movement on a pregnant woman, especially by the end of her pregnancy. The thing is that you'll never be able to make out the contours of the foot and the individual toes. Push your hang against your comforter. Can you make out as much detail as you see in that picture, or does it just look like a somewhat hand-shaped lump?

That does look cool. All I could ever make out was a head or booty making my belly lopsided. I remember one rib kick actually hurting a little, but only once.

Top three reasons why Cougs is still awake:

1 - I took too long of a nap this afternoon.
2 - I did too many pushups after not doing enough pushups, and my body hurts

:hello: Back from my trip to Europe. It was so amazing! Wish I had endless money so I could just hop from city to city for the next few years.

Yeah. I still don't feel like an adult, but one day earlier this week I woke up and realized I had done my taxes the night before and was worrying about getting a parking spot in the garage and wondering whether I would finally get the sales quote from the lab supply company I've been pestering. And I feel too responsible to have sex on a rooftop while people watch from below. So I guess I'm officially an adult now, or at least acting like one. 👎
 
There was radioidodine-131 in the rainwater, IIRC. The stuff has a half-life of about 8 days (decays into Xenon) and they said the levels detected weren't a health hazard anyway. Is that what you're talking about or did they find something else?

What's crackin folks? Been awhile. Missed you 2015'ers! I wanted to take a break from SDN, but, as always, I inevitably come crawling back...
 
Ugh. I need to vent about my capstone class. We basically have 4 weeks left in the semester and have received 0 feedback/grading/assessment/call it whatever you want about our performance which is making me deeply anxious. After pushing the issue a bit today the response was basically "that's just how capstone works." I'd understand it if our grade was essentially equal to our final paper, but we've had all these assignments along the way that are given grade % in the syllabus but are assigned/talked about in excessively informal terms and never evaluated or returned.

So frustrated...

Welcome back! We missed you too.

Not too much new with me... I took my dog on a run today and it was too hot for him, we had to "walk" (aka me dragging him on his leash) back the last mile. Poor guy. When we got back he flopped down and I fed him half a dozen ice cubes. (My dog loves ice cubes. Whenever I go to the freezer he thinks he's getting a wonderful treat.)

And sorry about the class Eli. My senior design project class last year was like that, it was so frustrating.
 
personally, i love projects like that. it usually means you have free reign to do whatever you want and as long as you do a good job on it you're going to get an A.

...as long as the professor isn't super-harsh with the grading at the end. That happened in my class. 🙁
