To those who are awaiting interviews and acceptances (note--cliche phrase coming), keep your head up. This process sucks ass, and I hope that those who are bummed out like I was hear some good news soon. Hopefully you will get to post an awkward celebratory post in the future. Good luck, and may the force/schwartz be with you!
 
I look at Tatertots and TunaSub and wonder if I should've registered myself with a food name on SDN :laugh:

Your name is awesome lol....when I registered I had just eaten a tuna sub and alas, my alias was born. It screams "STALE AND UNINTERESTING" and I dislike it very much haha.

awwww. no i completely agree with this post. 👍 med school admissions is both grueling and humbling. If people are fortunate enough to be accepted without being subjected to that end of the process, I hope they have the self-awareness ingrained in them already to understand that a lot of it is hard work, but quite a bit is also sheer luck and randomness. I also hope they are gracious enough about it to make it less awkward for their friends and compatriots who may not be as fortunate.

lol me too. I was going to be AnnPerkins, but decided to stick with idf. All my great sig quotes are tailored towards it anyways. I've made a name for idf, even though my intention was to make it as random a name as possible....:laugh:
