that's what I thought too when I first glanced over MegMurry's post.
I had to get a MMR booster, Tdap, HPV, and 2 PPD test. jabs left and right!

I know that students at UVa learn on each other. I would be terrified, as I have terrible veins that phlebotomists often blow (owie!). I think I would run away during that lesson, or come to class with vein-protecting gear.

I hate when my professors assign assignments on days that I know I'm going to be gone. Now I have to cough up $150 extra for a plane ticket to come home at a different time, or write a paper in lieu of the group presentation I have to do.

the brain is a funny thing sometimes. i've been hearing this song on and off for the better part of a year now, and never once did it strike me as a song i was a huge fan of.

and then suddenly yesterday i woke up and had it stuck in my head, and now it's the only song i want to listen to. literally on repeat for hours.

at least i have something fun to update my lab notebook to?

Just choose Albany. :-D Over NYMC, that is. Dunno about the other one.

NYMC. They haven't sent out the health form yet, but the immunization requirements which I did for LECOM-B are crazy, so should cover everything.

I had no idea that there were so many health requirements for medical school. Shots, physical, etc. Definitely putting that stuff off as long as I can.

I had to get blood drawn for a titer, which took about 1 week, then because my mumps turned up equivocal, I had to get a booster. have to go back in 6 weeks to get another titer. pain in the ****

Sounds like a pain. I had a positive TB test many years ago, so I'm sure that's going to cause me problems (chest x-ray, note from doctor) 🙄

Well, UofI is the front runner, but I would only go if I got the Chicago campus. Hence my mind isn't made up and I still want to look into other schools.

Its a program that NYMC students run where accepted students get paired up with current students to answer any questions.
