my diet the last week has mainly consisted of cheeseburgers, fries, butter and carbs.
i kid you not, i have been eating a LOT buttered toast/english muffins, and i really like buttered corn....basically, everything tastes better with butter. med school 500, here i come

These gifs contain the same density of awesomeness at saturated fat, but they have a much lower caloric density.

Every night I'm up too late learning crazy med school stuff, I keep asking how I got myself into this craziness. Then I remember: the career at the end of this hectic journey is going to be amazingly fulfilling, as will the journey itself. It's already starting to get amazing. Our white coat ceremony is on Friday, and my mom and sister are flying into town tomorrow! 🙂

That's better than the thoughts that popped into my head on the first day of our biochem block: "I hate science. Why am I even here. I don't even want to be a doctor." 😱😱

Thankfully it passed quickly.......................



I am having so much fun now though.

I wanted to quit during our biochemical/genetics block. Most of that stuff has zero application to real medicine.

SDN has been assaulted by spammers recently. There was a period with a new one every minute. Delete, delete, delete.

On a nicer note, I had dinner at a residency director's house and she said if I ever had any questions or wanted help with career stuff to email her or come by her office 🙂
