Class Of 2018!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
No idea.

I did get back at the RAs a little bit. I let a couple of the campers go through my medical bag, and we ended up dressing one of the campers up to look like she fell down the stairs. It was funny to watch then $h*t bricks

Hahaha is this a completely outdoor camp or something? Or are there cabins and such.

Is this a 4-H camp by the way?

I wish! Naw it is a program my school is doing, we are staying in the unairconditioned dorm.

Hey your right!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This makes up for earlier, when I got back from breakfast and found out grounds had pointed the sprinkler into our dorm room, soaking our laptops and radio equiptment.

At least your laptop seems ok.

Thank gosh yes! This beast is like my child, I would be devestated without it!

So who here exercises frequently?

I sort of kinda do. I don't actually go to the gym that often, but when I do, I just play raquetball with my friends or ping pong or basketball or something. I like to exercise the way of sports

Just got back from spending two days with a dermatologist in mississippi.. It was nice, he only did skin cancers though 😴.

Oh and i exercise probably 3-4 times a week with working out and running outside or on treadmill or doing some form of H.I.I.T.

I do what my uncontroled asthma allows me to do. Like most asthmatics I find indoor swimming to be the best form of cardio, because the air is warm and mildly humid.

I also love my stationary bike. I am trying to build up my lung strength so I can do some real biking, but I have to wait until september for the air quality to improve.

I also hike all the time and swim in the river near my house. The only sports I enjoy are volleyball and badmitten...mostly because I am a huge clutz. However I am fairly adventurous and will try things even when I know I will have an asthma attack if they look cool enough!

Sometimes I feel like studying for certain classes is exercise. Especially when I'm cramming for a test. I don't get a concept... I get upset, flustered, sweaty maybe.... and then once I finally finish the test and turn it in... I feel as though a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders (or maybe stomach).

I used to have asthma, but I grew out of it thankfully. I only get it now if it is extremely dry out or if I have a serious cold or something along with the dry air.

:laugh::laugh::laugh:

I always let out a hugh sigh when I turn a test in. Mainly because I prepare for it and I'm always nervous to see if I prepared enough

Come to New Mexico! Very little humidity here!

Nah, it was like a nice refreshing 99 today. 😉

Lack of humidity would be nice, but I don't like to sweat without a good reason. How in the world would you know if you got a good workout in if you were sweaty to begin with?

Ohhhhh and HP7 part 2 was simply EPIC. I mean EPIC. I bawled....a lot.

You get used to it lol. Plus without the humidity you dry off pretty quickly.

Interesting. What is the average temperature there? On the East Coast especially in Virginia, it can get very humid here

Hi guys! (Possible) class of 2018 over here too! Though I may just decide to take a gap year after college since I'm only gonna be like...20 by 2014. 😏 But Class of 2018 sounds so much better than 2019! 🙁

It really was! Every showing was sold out here and there were a lot of people dressed up, even saw a Lord Voldemort! Now time to wait for the collector's edition of all the movies to hit stores lol.😀

And welcome marciepan! 🙂

During the summer: mid-to-upper 90's usually.

Wow, idealy I would want maybe 80 to 90 with a mild breeze

Also, I saw HP tonight, it was pretty good. Especially since I never read the books

Harry potter spoiler alert!!!!!

Haha no? I read the wikipedia before hand, so I knew it was coming. Though when voldemort died, I wish it was more climactic instead of him just vanishing

Usually there is no wind or too much wind.

I'm going the way of Caligirl and a few other female users with my pic for a bit... but it does beg the question.....

lol, no. I'm a big fan of the books so I knew what was going to happen. I did flip out and burst out laughing at a bunch of inopportune moments though... I can't have been the only one who thought that fetus-voldemort looked like a buffalo chicken wing. But seriously, I thought the movie did a great job of wrapping up the series.

And btw: Hi, guys. I'm buttahz. Just finished freshman year.

This thread was on the second page, therefore it is my duty to bump it.

Very true!!!!!!!!!

Also, Welcome!

And lastly, why does no one want to date my avatar? 🙁 Fighting with the real boyfriend

Wooh! Back from New York!

Haha that is a great mantra to live by, though with the new avatar Squish, I'd be willing to say you aren't crazy

@BigMac

Haha! The crazy ones are always hot, trust me I know.

Also do any of my fellow future (hopefully) classmates want a Google+ invite?

Also, your cooking may have been the deciding factor to me applying to schools so far west 😉

Interesting 🙂

Any specific programs catch your eye? My vote is New York but I am bias!

UMASS is def high up on my list.

The only reason Penn gets ranked so low is because of how hard it is to get admitted to their post-bacc program.
