November is early for invites to me. I got an invite in late January/early Feb for a later February interview! Just live the next few months and try to maintain sanity if at all possible
 
My IS usually sends out invites in late Nov, and this year they pushed up IS interviews to late Nov/early Dec, and I was super excited because that's so early. Then they pushed IS interviews till Feb. So now invites won't be till mid Dec most likely. So.Far. Away.

I was being so good and not obsessing or worrying (well, for the most part haha) until this happened. Now all bets are off 😛

I had the same with my contract state. Last year they did IS in Nov, contract in Dec, but now it looks like they'e doing IS in Dec, and contract early Jan. Ugh more waiting. :boom:

It sucks! I'm still holding out hope they'll just revert back to the old interview dates for everyone, which will push IS back to mid January, and interview invites to late November.

I don't know why they tried moved up IS interviews almost two months this year. Apps where only due two weeks earlier! They were really pushing it trying to get everyone reviewed in time for that.

I was just about to say that!! They were due earlier, why are interview dates being moved up a month?!

If I had a dollar for every time someone I haven't talked to in X number of years messaged me on Facebook or somehow got my phone number asking, "FLUFFY IS LIMPING, WHAT DO I DO?!" or "HALP! Someone told me that purina is poisoning my dog but blue buffalo gives him diarrhea! What should I do?!" or "SO my friend's friend's sister's boyfriend's cousin's uncle found lots of baby bunnies and they want to keep them all as pets but they keep dying! What should they do?!"

I try to help as best as I can.. But seriously people! LEAVE ME ALONE I AM NOT A MIRACLE WORKER OR DOCTOR! .... YET!

Oh, this.

I volunteered at 3 hrs a week at a bird rehab over the summer. Mostly cleaning poop but after my second week everyone kept thinking I could answer all their bird questions and/or save all the birds.

Theres an injured bird in your yard? What should you do?

Uh.... maybe call the actual bird center? Just not me. Heck, even google probably knew more than I did.

I swear that I have some sort of scent to me that attracts all stray animals in the area. They ALWAYS find me! Or is it that I always find them... :lame: But there is nothing that makes me happier than finding the original owners or new perfect home for stray babies 😍
 
Has anyone been verified these past few days ? If so when did you submit
 
My transcripts were entered in on the 16th and no verification here.
 
I submitted on the 14th but they didn't "receive" my transcripts that had been mailed to them several times, until the 17th. I might have a lot more waiting. 🙁

It was the best I could find while sitting in biochem lecture. Lol 🙄 but lavender is definitely a good choice 🙂

Wow that actually took longer than it did for me last year! (by like 3 days)
Welcome to the procrastination club, we will have a sign in sheet available sometime in the future and our next meeting has yet to be planned 😉
 
Anyone else having trouble with Auburn regarding the cell bio class? My animal science cell bio class doesn't meet the prereq, so I have to withdraw my application :/

Cell Bio is part of my degree plan, so I will have it anyways. But if I wasn't a zoology/biology major, I probably wouldn't have applied this cycle because I would have had to take it before!

I just wish they made it clear that you can't petition for an animal science class to count as well 🙁

That is the main reason why I ended up not applying there. Oh and because their supplemental essay looked like pure torture.
